Clinton Kelly of 'What Not To Wear' fame will be seen helping successful entrepreneurs find their dream luxury homes

Do you like watching people switch from humble houses to some very expensive real estate properties? Do you like Clinton Kelly of 'What Not To Wear'? If the answer to any or both questions is yes, 'Self-Made Mansions' that goes on air early next year is the perfect show for you and here's all you need to know about it. 

Release date

'Self-Made Mansions' Season 1 will have a total of six episodes and the series premieres on January 8, 2021. A new episode will air on Wednesdays at 8 pm ET on HGTV.

Plot 

'Self-Made Mansions' will combine brilliant new millionaires with lifestyle expert Clinton Kelly on this show. Did you watch that 'Shark Tank' episode that had introduced a hair grooming kit known as The Cut Buddy? Do you use Kwik Hang and praise the mastermind behind the invention of this super convenient curtain rod bracket? Ever visited the Sweetroots Hair Bar and left a marvelous Yelp review after leaving?

This HGTV show will bring the people behind such creations who struck gold and became rich, right on your screens. Each episode will detail their house-hunting journey and these are no ordinary houses but some really expensive abodes that they'll be looking at. Excited to see how it unfolds? We are!

Clinton Kelly

Clinton is an Emmy-winning co-host of ABC's daytime hit, 'The Chew'. He is also very well-known for his stint as co-host on 'What Not To Wear', TLC's longest-running primetime reality show for 10 long years.

The lifestyle expert will now be seen clubbing his personal passion for real estate and his keen eye for design to show new millionaires what it is like to live large. He will take them on tours of every type of luxurious property including multi-acre farms, sprawling country estates to Mediterranean-style mansions, and cool desert properties to help them find the home of their dreams. 

Showstopping features like sensational pools, spacious kitchens, spa-like bathrooms, and plenty of square footage are just a few of the reasons these successful entrepreneurs will put a bid on a stunning, new property.

“These entrepreneurs have so much creativity and determination when it comes to their inventions,” said Clinton. “It’s such a privilege to be able to share with them my advice and imagination when it comes to buying their new homes.”
