As April, Jennifer and Nick explained their situation, it turns out April and Davis had been together for a while now, while they have been with Jennifer for the past four to five years. Jennifer and April met at work and soon realized that she would be a good fit. But seeing that Jennifer is now 24, fans did the math and realized that the couple met her when she was in her late teens/the early 20s and found that rather alarming.

"Jen: it's been 4 or 5 years now Also Jen: I'm 24 #seekingsisterwife" tweeted a fan. "JEN WAS 19??????????? This is grooming…. #seekingsisterwife" added another. "So they found this latest wife when she was 21 and they were mid thirties. #SeekingSisterWife" noted another.

While fans tried to make sense of the relationship's timeline, what shocked them, even more, was the fact that Nick was actually a stay-at-home husband, focused on taking care of Jennifer's son, William, while April and Jennifer are the breadwinners. The throuple even joked about Nick being a trophy husband. However, fans saw Nick's position as an advantageous one, seeing that technically, he wasn't committed legally to either woman.
"It evens the playing field really means protects my assets #seekingsisterwife #seekingsisterwives" tweeted a fan. "Wait the wives married each other? Ahh so he has no financial obligation to anyone. Got it! #seekingsisterwife" wrote a fan. "Oop they lost me with him being a stay at home husband!!! Wtf??? So what is the plus side here if he’s not taking care of y’all? #SeekingSisterWife" added another.
