LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Samuel Haskell Jr, the son of well-known Hollywood agent Sam Haskell III, who was arrested for murdering and chopping up the bodies of his wife and in-laws, apparently could not stomach the gory nature of horror movies.

On Sunday, November 19, TMZ released the screenshots of Instagram messages from May where Haskell Jr talks to his former personal trainer Troy Piedade regarding the horrific scenes in the movie 'The Forever Purge'.

The Los Angeles County District Attorney George Gascon, on November 13 announced that Haskell Jr was charged with three counts of murder in the death of his 37-year-old wife, Mei Haskell, and her parents Gaoshan Li, 72, Yanxiang Wang, 64.

The messages Haskell Jr sent are ironic considering the inhumane murder he has allegedly committed. He said that the movie made him feel sick due to the dismembered bodies.

The text read, "Forever purge was a little different fools really be getting chopped up in Mexico for real it's hard for me to enjoy a movie about it, I'm down with purge 2 anarchy."

According to Piedade, who started training the murder accused in 2009, horror and fitness were a constant topic of discussion among them. They kept in touch even after he left the gym.

TMZ also reported that the LAPD is aware of Samuel's interest in horror movies and is looking into the matter.

Police have been able to recover the body parts of only one victim

On November 8, the police found a female torso wrapped in a plastic bag inside a dumpster. The day laborers Haskell Jr hired to throw away the trash were the first to discover the mutilated body parts and informed the cops.

According to the police, there is biological evidence from the house where the three murdered people used to live, pointing to the presence of three different persons. The discovered parts have not been identified so far.

Based on a video published by TMZ, Haskell was spotted dumping a heavy black bag into a dumpster near his house. Since the bodies were chopped up and discarded, it would be near impossible for the police to recover the bodies.

TMZ states, "Once the trash is emptied and taken to a landfill, it gets dumped and buried very quickly...making it very difficult to identify remains."

Haskell Jr currently remains in jail, and if convicted, he would likely face life in prison without parole.
