Spoiler alert for 'Riverdale' Season 4 Episode 12: 'Chapter Sixty-Nine: Men of Honor'

This episode saw Alice Cooper (Mädchen Amick) finally fall into the rhythm of Betty Cooper's (Lili Reinhart) adamant need to investigate mysteries. A reporter herself, we always knew that if Alice were to stop being a dreadfully distant mother, she would be a great addition to Betty's hobby to take down bad seeds in the murder capital of 'Riverdale.' This episode proved us right, and we saw how smoothly things can go between the Coopers if they see eye-to-eye.

It's fair to say that Alice wasn't always a great mother and she has quite the list when it comes to reasons why Betty resents her. From bringing The Farm's dangerous activities to their lives, sending her daughters off to the Sisters of Quiet Mercy loony bin, revealing her love child with FP Jones (Skeet Ulrich), the list goes on.

Things also took a turn when Alice blames Betty for having sex with Jughead for her daughter not getting into Yale when it turned out to be that Yale rejected Betty because she didn't want the daughter of the serial killer Black Hood (Lochlyn Munro) in their school.

A fan tweeted, "Although Alice has had her bad moments, it’s so nice to see her HELPING Betty solve a mystery and working together rather than Alice finding out and getting angry and ordering Betty to stop. Their relationship has came a long way from the pilot. #Riverdale."

Another fan tweeted, "Alice and Betty teaming up is what I needed and didn’t even know it #Riverdale" summing up our sentiments,

It seems as though Alice's overprotective nature in the previous episodes didn't annoy just us. "Alice is actually doing a good job of not annoying me this episode," tweeted a fan, and others applauded the new investigative team while Jughead is too busy with elite proceedings at Stonewall Prep. Other appreciated and urged for more, "Petition to have more Betty and Alice team-up more, like this tweet if you agree #Riverdale," tweeted another fan.

'Riverdale' airs on Wednesdays at 8 pm EST on The CW.
