The ladies of the 'Real Housewives of New Jersey' franchise are known for their lavish and flashy lifestyle. Despite almost all of the housewives (looking at you Teresa Giudice, Margaret Josephs, and Melissa Gorga), who currently appear on the show being embroiled in some sort of money trouble, these ladies somehow still seem to find the money to maintain their over-the-top lifestyle.

Jackie Goldschneider, a relatively new addition to the franchise, ruffled several feathers when the ladies found out that the housewife rented her Hamptons house for a whopping $50,000 per month!

Jackie, who always maintained a low-profile and tended to stay away from drama as far as possible, suddenly found herself bang at the center of it, with all the other housewives, especially Jennifer Aydin, being extremely curious about her net worth and wealth. Jennifer showed no qualms when she asked the housewife how rich she was. Although the former attorney refused to answer Jennifer's question, she did explain where her wealth came from.

According to Floor 8, the reality star is worth $2 million. In an interview with The Daily Dish, Jackie explained that her money is "family wealth", apart from her making a fortune as an attorney. She said, "My parents were very smart about it. My father also did very well for himself and everything that they made together, they started investing. They invested in stocks, they invested in real estate, and they really did amazingly well for themselves.” But Jennifer didn't always grow in wealth.

Instead of living off her family's vast fortune, Jackie took a leaf from her parents' page and invested some of the money from her trust fund into real-estate, and managed to amass a fortune for herself. She has properties in Manhattan, Hampton, and even runs a small real-estate firm.

Jackie traded in her former career as a real estate attorney to explore her passion for writing. The housewife soon became a freelance journalist, whose columns featured in Good Housekeeping, Huffington Post, etc. Jackie's $2 million net worth prior to joining 'RHONJ'. It might have gone up significantly since joining the show, although details of her pay and current net worth aren't available.

Despite her fortune, Jackie lives a frugal and down-to-earth lifestyle that has won her many fans on the show. She shared in an interview how money isn't something to brag about because it makes one look tacky. She said, "Money to me is not what makes you an impressive person or an admirable person, so it’s not something that you brag about. And I buy things; I do spend money but I just don’t flash it all over Instagram, because I find it tacky.”

While Jackie is without a doubt, a wealthy and kind housewife, unfortunately, she might not be the richest housewife of the franchise. It might come as a shock to many to learn that Jackie's close friend on the show, and fellow housewife Margaret Josephs, is in fact, the richest housewife of the franchise with a net worth of an estimated $50 million, according to Celebrity Net Worth

'Real Housewives of New Jersey' Season 11 premieres on Wednesday, January 11, at 9 pm ET/PT on Bravo.
