'RHONJ' fans slam Margaret Josephs for hosting weed party after calling Jennifer Aydin 'drug addict'

NEW JERSEY: Back in New Jersey, it was Guys' Night, and the husbands came together to try out some fresh samples from Frank Catania's marijuana firm. Viewers of 'The Real Housewives of New Jersey' were eager to drag Joe Benigno's wife, Margaret Josephs, who previously accused Jennifer Aydin of using marijuana, into the fray.

Frank revealed in the most recent Season 13 episode of 'RHONJ' that he is entering the cannabis market. During Season 13, when the wives were in Ireland, the entrepreneur took the opportunity to expose the other ladies' husbands to the cannabis products he wanted to market legally, as New Jersey is now one of the states where recreational marijuana usage is allowed. Frank said on 'RHONJ' that he was approached about getting into the cannabis sector some years ago. He admitted that he wasn't a pot user at the time, but that changed after learning more about the plant's calming properties.

'RHONJ' husbands engage in recreational activities

The husbands came together on the April 25 episode of 'RHONJ' to try out some new samples from Frank's marijuana company. But when Joe learned that Bill Aydin had been invited to be one of Luis Ruelas' groomsmen at the wedding, he was furious. Meanwhile, Teresa Giudice told the group in Ireland that she wishes Joe and Melissa Gorga's entire family could attend the wedding. It was a nice moment for Teresa and Melissa, but when Jennifer A questioned Teresa directly whether she was asking them to participate in the wedding, Teresa swiftly said, "No."

'Wasn’t she demonizing Jen for doing the same?'

Jennifer A and Margaret's years-long animosity came to a head on March 7's episode of 'RHONJ,' when what began as a joyful, fried chicken-filled brunch turned into a shouting brawl between the two reality stars. From Jennifer A slut-shaming Margaret for feeling obligated to sleep with her employer early in her career to Margaret revealing that Jennifer A's spouse had an affair in prior seasons of the program, the duo has a tumultuous past filled with cutthroat bickering.

While the ladies appeared to have healed their disagreements at the start of the current season, they ended up in a furious dispute after Margaret confronted Jennifer A for gossiping about her to her friend Jennifer Fessler. As a consequence, the rivals exchanged expletives, with Jennifer A referring to Margaret as the "old lady in the corner" and declaring, "I have a family which is something you will never fucking know what it’s like." Meanwhile, Margaret called Jennifer A a "stupid fucking a**hole" and a "disheveled little drug addict."

After Jennifer A clarified later in the episode that "marijuana is not drugs," many fans turned to social media to chastise Margaret for making such a false claim. 

Now viewers are calling out the Josephs once again as they write, "Oh look at Marge’s lap dog smoking weed.. wasn’t she demonizing Jen for doing the same? And hosting a weed tasting at her house and she sent a food truck for munchies? HYPOCRISY!!" Another person chimed in saying, "the fact that margaret had the gall to call jen a drug addict for smoking weed meanwhile she had a weed smoking party hosted by her husband at HER home..doesnt her friends young child live there too? hypocrite ass." One person tweeted, "Marge is going to call high functioning people a disheveled drug addict when her husband looks like this after he smokes a joint? Fucking spare me, man." A fourth person tweeted, "So Margret bc alls Jen a disholved drug addiction bc she smoked pot but thinks it’s cute Frank is host a weed party this woman is a literal nightmare #RHONJ why in earth she has friends is wild maybe that’s why Lexi is her bestie she’s her paid friend."

Calling out how Jennifer was shamed for the same thing the husbands were doing, one wrote, "Did anyone notice it’s ok for the men to smoke weed that frank provided but when Jen does it Margaret calls her a drug addict." Another asked, "wait….so when @JenniferAydin smokes weed she’s a “drug addict” but when the rest of the househusbands do it it’s nbd?"
