'RHOC' Season 18: Tamra Judge blasted by fans for 'latching onto' Shannon Beador for storyline
ORANGE COUNTY, CALIFORNIA: Bravo viewers may not find it amusing to witness Tamra Judge delight so openly in Shannon Beador's demise that they turned to social media shortly after the Season 18 premiere of 'The Real Housewives of Orange County'. Bravo followers think Tamra enjoys nothing more than seeing others suffer, and that mindset has helped her establish this brand from the ground up.
She may be a soulless succubus, but she is a necessary evil. She's not as cunning as some Housewives villains, but she seldom fights a losing battle.
Coming after Shannon for her DUI and drinking issue, fans certainly didn't appreciate Tamra's comments. On X, fans wrote, "Tamra is going to piss me off this season with Shannon’s DUI situation because you are not coming as concerned friend/sister, you are coming in trying to be messy. She had nothing going on so she latched onto Shannon’s storyline." Another person chimed in saying, "lol I feel like Tamra is milking this DUI thing. This doesn’t sound like a concerned friend who thinks Shannon needs a wake up call. It’s giving she’s enjoying having something this big to stick to Shannon. Like hold her accountable yes, but this is some bs."

One user snapped at Tamra writing, "I could take Tamra's concern about Shannon posing a threat to other people if she didn't shelter and support and buy a cowboy costume for somebody who threatened to murder the mother of her granddaughter." A fourth user complained, "Miss Shannon is taking accountability for her actions she’s owning what she did she hasn’t downplayed it or tried to “celebrity” her way out of it she even callled herself a hypocrite, yet Tamra and Gina want her to be a villain so bad cause they need a storyline."

Some called out Tamra saying, "Imagine Tamra of ALL PEOPLE, saying she lost respect for Shannon for drinking and drinking (which is hourendous), but Tamra helped her son get Gretchen "naked wasted", fell in bushes, screamed AWFUL things at women. Baby, those in glass houses shouldn't throw stones." Another added, "If Tamra was Shannon’s friend she may have tried helping her when she was at her rock bottom and broken instead she just talked shit about her."

When was 'RHOC' Season 18 star Shannon Beador’s DUI?
On Saturday, September 16, 2023, at 11.45 pm, Shannon was arrested for driving under the influence and hit-and-run after reportedly clipping a Newport Beach, California, house with her beloved dog in the backseat and fleeing the scene. She was cited and released from jail the next morning after posting a $2,500 bond.
"She is extremely apologetic and remorseful," the reality star's attorney, Mike Fell, told Page Six at the time. "We will be awaiting the official information on this case as it becomes available, and Shannon is prepared to accept full responsibility for her actions."
Tamra Judge suggests 'RHOC' costar Shannon Beador ‘needs to go to rehab’ after DUI arrest
Tamra agrees with her 'RHOC' co-stars, who feel Shannon should have gone to rehab after her DUI arrest in September 2023. "I do think she needs to go to rehab," Tamra exclusively told Page Six's 'Virtual Reali-Tea' podcast, mirroring castmates Emily Simpson and Gina Kirschenheiter, who both said the same thing in Thursday's Season 18 premiere.
“But I do think that she needs to acknowledge the fact that she needs to go to rehab. She can’t just go because people are telling her to go,” Tamra continued.
“She has to go because she wants to stop drinking.”
The 'Two Ts in a Pod' co-host adds that she doesn't feel Shannon, whom she formerly called a close friend until falling out over a variety of difficulties, has "hit rock bottom yet," thus she won't seek such professional treatment.
“I don’t think she’s willing to go to rehab,” Tamra told the outlet.
What happened between former 'RHOC' besties Tamra Judge and Shannon Beador?
Tamra and Shannon argued throughout production for the forthcoming season of 'RHOC', with much of their fights centered on the latter's drinking after she wrecked her car into a residential structure in Newport Beach, California, last year.
'The Real Housewives of Orange County' Season 18 airs on Thursdays on Bravo at 9 pm ET
