Plot

Annika Marshall is a single mother who has a heart broken every single time she's been in love. Christmas doesn't hold the same meaning for her anymore after all that she's been through. All she wants is to make it through the season without having a complete meltdown.
This includes staying far away from her Alma Mater's newest celebrity head football coach — who also happens to be her first love — Jesse Winchester. Jesse messed up when he fell for the money and glitz of a big football contract and left Annika behind.
Now, having blown out his knee, he is back in snow-packed Colorado and the last person he expected to find still there is the one woman he's never gotten over.
Determined to win Annika back, Jesse uses every play in his gamebook, and even a little help from some kids, to get her to see she's not only worthy of being loved but that Christmas wishes really do still come true.
