In Episode 7 of 'Red Swan', Park Mi-ran (Seo Yi-sook) and Han Sang-il (Yoon Je-moon) uncover that So Do-yoon (Rain) has stolen the crucial ledger files revealing the slush funds of the Hwain company. Mi-ran, furious, accuses Oh Wan-soo of having an affair with Do-yoon, but Wan-soo firmly denies the claim, clarifying that she had asked Do-yoon to steal the files for her.

Mr. Han plots to kill Wan-soo and frame her for an affair with Do-yoon, sending Lee-jin (Jung Joo-yeon) to execute the plan. However, Do-yoon intervenes, protecting Wan-soo from Lee-jin's attack and ultimately confronting her on a yacht, where they share an intimate and heartwarming moment, culminating in a kiss.

In Episode 8, Yong-guk, Wan-soo’s husband, arrives at the scene of the attack, finding Wan-soo safe but troubled. Meanwhile, Do-yoon questions Wan-soo about Yong-guk, probing whether Yong-guk knows his brother is not his biological sibling and if he suspects his father’s murder. As the situation unfolds, Mi-ran faces frustration over thugs posing as doctors and selling her saline at exorbitant prices.

To divert attention, she demands Mr Han release scandalous photos of Do-yoon and Wan-soo's alleged affair. As the media frenzy erupts, Yong-guk confronts his mother, expressing anger and siding with Wan-soo, vowing not to divorce her. This confrontation leads to a poignant reflection on his own unspoken love for Wan-soo and his emotional turmoil.

Later, Do-yoon discovers critical files revealing Mr. Han’s connection as Kim Yong-min's (Go-yoon) biological father. Yong-guk, enraged, confronts Mr Han and demands he leave Wan-soo alone. In a dramatic twist, Wan-soo arrives just in time to stop Yong-guk from harming Do-yoon, confessing her love for him and urging Yong-guk to trust Do-yoon to reveal the truth about his father’s murder.

This revelation brings an emotional release, with Yong-guk finally acknowledging his own unmet need for love. The episode concludes with lawyers revealing that the deceased chairman of Hwain has left 18 trillion won to the NOW Foundation, a windfall meant for Wan-soo, leaving everyone stunned but Yong-guk content for Wan-soo's benefit.
