In Episode 5 of 'Red Swan', Oh Wan-soo (Kim Ha-neul) feels immense guilt after her mother's death, as she couldn't be with her in the past. The chairman prevents Wan-soo from attending her own mother's funeral, adding to her distress.

Determined to pay her respects, she asks So Do-yoon (Rain) to remove her GPS tracker, which angers the security team. While visiting her old house, someone spies on them. Back home, Kim Yong-guk slaps Do-yoon out of jealousy and fires him, but the chairman Park Mi-ran (Seo Yi-sook) stops Do-yoon from leaving, hinting at a hidden agenda.

Wan-soo and Do-yoon team up to find the person who killed the old chairman and now targets Wan-soo. Do-yoon's investigation strains his relationship with the security head. Meanwhile, Wan-soo faces backlash from her in-laws for a cosmetic advertisement that clashes with the chairman's company launch.

Later, bomb drones attack Wan-soo's car, but Do-yoon saves her. In Episode 6, a drone attached to Wan-soo's car explodes, but Do-yoon rescues her. It’s revealed that Lee-jin, Wan-soo's driver, orchestrated the attack.

At the hospital, Lee-jin attempts to harm Do-yoon but fails due to security cameras. Kim Yong-guk (Jung Gyu Woon) visits Wan-soo and becomes jealous when she inquires about Do-yoon. Returning to work, Wan-soo focuses on uncovering hidden slush funds for the NOW Foundation.

Do-yoon secretly enters Han-Sang Il's (Yoon Je-moon) house to find the fund papers but is caught by Lee-jin. As Do-yoon hands the papers to Wan-soo, the police arrive with a search warrant for the NOW Foundation and an arrest warrant for Do-yoon's manager.
