Who is Caroline Brooks?
Originally from Newton, Massachusetts, Brooks is the daughter of two immigrant parents from Honduras. She is a proud first-generation American and Afro-Latina. Not much information is available regarding her life as a child. However, Caroline revealed to Cosmopolitan magazine that after she finished high school, she was notorious for her partying habits. She recounted that her “family thought she was partying a little too hard.” So in order to cut down her partying ways, her parents sent her to New York City for an internship. She mentions how their well-intentioned decision was a reason for even more socializing as she “ended up becoming friends with the woman she interned for and partied and shopped her way through "The Big Apple.”
Why did Caroline Brooks move to UAE?
She was doing her internship in New York City when she accidentally met her future husband at Cipriani in Manhattan. He was working in UAE, so they both decided to move to Dubai after a whirlwind engagement. A year later they got married and ended up with the greatest gift, her son Adam. Unfortunately, her marriage didn’t work out and she divorced her husband. While the marriage was short-lived, Caroline was successful in cementing her place in the high society in the Middle Eastern city.
Caroline points out that people are under the false assumption that she got a big cheque from her ex-husband. After divorcing, she was left with nothing and had to work her way back up the ladder. She says that “people often think things are handed to her based on her luxury lifestyle Instagram account.” However, behind the scenes, Caroline worked extremely hard to attain a rich lifestyle.
Despite having completed only one year of college, she worked hard to earn her real estate license. Today, Caroline Brooks is the founder and managing director of a brokerage firm, ‘Caroline DXB’. Caroline is also the owner and founder of the luxury beauty salon and spa named ‘The Glasshouse Dubai’, a luxury salon that caters to women of all colors, hair textures, and skin types.
Besides being an entrepreneur, she enjoys shopping, traveling the world, spending time with close friends, and is also a philanthropist. Caroline also believes in self-care and is a big promoter of proper skincare and beauty regimes, which is evident in her social media. In her interview with Cosmopolitan, Caroline describes herself as “assertive, loyal, and emotional.” Her friends also praise her for being resilient and motivational.
The Real Housewives of Dubai

In the first look of the show, the viewers are introduced to Caroline who mentions she is about to build a spa that will be the glam central of Dubai. She also reveals to her friends that her ex-husband is developing the project and her ex-boyfriend is investing in it. In her confessional, she warns that “it is very expensive to cheat on me. Ask my exes!”
