Controversies of Mizkif

Mizkif vs 4Connor

While not directly involving the streamer, Mizkif found himself entangled in the 4connor racism controversy in 2021. After explicit racist, misogynistic, and homophobic messages from 4Connor surfaced online, it was revealed a day after Mizkif had offered him a place at the OTK house. Upon learning of the scandal, Mizkif promptly banned 4Connor from his residence. During a subsequent stream, Mizkif took pains to disassociate himself from the offensive remarks made by his acquaintance. He expressed his belief that 4Connor's comments were too recent to ignore and bid farewell to the streamer in an emotionally charged moment. The controversy also resurfaced older concerns about the Texan streamer, with some individuals in political streamer HasanAbi's chat raising accusations of similar behavior in the past. Hasan, however, defended Mizkif, asserting that he had undergone significant personal growth, despite having been "edgy" in earlier times.

Sexual assault allegations cover-up

'Mizkif' found himself entangled in a turbulent situation when prominent YouTuber Tyler 'Trainwreckstv' accused him of being involved in a cover-up of sexual assault allegations against another streamer. In a heated exchange on social media, Trainwreckstv directly confronted Mizkif, Asmongold, and Twitch, questioning whether they would employ manipulative tactics, involving individuals named Maya and Mitch, to silence victims of sexual assault. Trainwreckstv accused Mizkif of being complicit in the cover-up, cautioning him against making false claims while residing in a metaphorical glass house. Soon after, streamer Adrianah Lee came forward during a livestream, recounting her experience of being sexually assaulted by streamer CrazySlick at a party in 2020. It was alleged that Mizkif had instructed his then-girlfriend, Maya, to downplay the incident and dissuade Adrianah from publicly addressing the matter. In response to the escalating situation, Asmongold addressed the issue during his stream, expressing his hope that Mizkif would distance himself from CrazySlick. Subsequently, Mizkif took a leave of absence from OTK (One True King), the content creation group he was associated with.

Mizkif vs Ice Poseidon

Another controversy stemming from the CrazySlick and Adrianna Lee sexual assault incident involved Mizkif and his former friend, well-known YouTuber and his former employee "IcePoseidon." While initially reacting to Adrianna's Twitlonger, Mizkif acknowledged the incident as a sexual assault, but swiftly downplayed it, asserting that it wasn't a significant matter. This led prominent streamers and YouTubers, including IcePoseidon, to criticize Mizkif for minimizing the seriousness of the assault and urging Adrianna to assist in keeping the incident under wraps. Private DMs between Ice and Mizkif provided further evidence, showcasing Mizkif's use of racist and homophobic slurs.

‘Schooled’ cheating controversy

Mizkif's Twitch show 'Schooled' has been accused of cheating multiple times since its inception. While the trivia-based game show has been immensely popular on the Amazon-owned platform, there's been a recurring issue of competitors resorting to cheating, thereby spoiling the spirit of the game. Tensions escalated when Super Smash Bros caster 'EEvisu' initially emerged as the victor of the $50K season 2 finale through dishonest means. This incident pushed Mizkif to make the tough decision to cancel the show, expressing his frustration with the persistent unfairness. During an April 27, 2022  broadcast, Mizkif delved into the EEVisu controversy, expressing a particular dislike for individuals who refuse to acknowledge their cheating. Mizkif remarked, "The problem with a lot of the other contestants is that they not only have lied to me and said that they didn’t cheat, they still lie to me and say that they didn’t cheat." He went on to reference the occasion when Amouranth correctly identified the "four nitrogenous bases found in DNA," attributing it to a song she claimed she learned in middle school. Mizkif didn't mince words, asserting she cheated at that time and still won't admit it. "You cheated. You cheated on my show, and it undermines the integrity of the program," emphasized the OTK star. However, unlike EEvisu, Siragusa was not caught cheating and maintains her innocence, asserting that she played by the rules.

Mizkif vs QTCinderella

Toward the end of 2021, Mizkif ended his two-year relationship with his girlfriend and fellow Twitch streamer Maya Higa. The separation was relatively amicable, leading both streamers to take a break from streaming. However, upon their return, drama began to unfold when the new OTK streamer Emiru moved into the OTK content house with Mizkif. Other streamers like Minx, QTCinderella, and Ludwig also became involved, as discussions on social media revolved around Emiru and Maya. Maya herself addressed the matter on her stream, expressing her discomfort with the comparisons to Emiru, especially when some suggested she was being replaced at the OTK house. The controversy escalated when QTCinderella, a close friend of Maya, commented that swiftly placing Emiru in Maya's former room after their breakup was "inappropriate." In a subsequent stream, she reiterated her stance, offering a sarcastic comparison between Emiru and Maya. “Emiru is not Maya 2.0. She just happened to move into Mizkif's house. Into Maya's room. Also likes pets, also she's like really cute. Also, is like the LSF girl of the moment. Also is half-Asian. Also... it's so weird, there's so many..." QT Cinderella asserted.

MizKif vs GreekGodX

Describing Mizkif and Dimitri, aka "GreekGodX," as having a complicated relationship would be an understatement. The streamers first crossed paths in 2017 and quickly formed a friendship, frequently collaborating and appearing on each other's channels. Unfortunately, their friendship suffered first major obstacle when Dimitri made comments about Mizkif's then-girlfriend, Maya, during one of his livestreams. This led to a fallout between the two, with GreekGodX publicly apologizing to Mizkif on both Twitter and during his livestream. Shortly after, they reconcile, but another rift between the duo occurred in 2020 when Dimitri faced a Twitch ban for using racial slurs. During this period, their friendship hit a rough patch once more after Mizkif criticized Dimitri for his behavior. Since then, Dimitri and Mizkif have clashed on multiple occasions, with the most recent incident occurring in June 2022.

Mizkif vs xQc

Mizkif and xQc found themselves in a major clash during the 2019 charity stream for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. xQc's comments about Mizkif's ex-girlfriend, Maya, were perceived as disrespectful, leading to an on-stream confrontation. The argument escalated, resulting in a heated exchange of insults. Shortly after, both publicly apologized and appeared to reconcile, with xQc even supporting Maya. However, tensions flared up again in September 2022, when xQc vaguely mentioned a group of Austin-based streamers being "extremely hostile," without specifying names. Although he didn't explicitly point fingers, it was widely assumed he referred to members of OTK, including Asmongold, Emiru, Esfand, Nmplol, and Mizkif. In a since-deleted Twitch VOD, Mizkif promptly addressed fan inquiries, prompting Mizkif to suggest that people were hesitant to criticize xQc due to his influential status on Twitch. This ignited a back-and-forth exchange, with both streamers trading verbal jabs.

Mizkif vs Kai Cenat

In a surprising turn of events in early 2023, popular Twitch streamer Kai Cenat blasted Mizkif reported him to Twitch. Mizkif found himself facing a 24-hour ban on January 13, 2023 for streaming content from a banned broadcaster known as GrossGore. This didn't sit well with Mizkif, who reached out to a Twitch representative to question the ban. In response, he referenced Cenat as an example of other streamers who had done similar things. Cenat subsequently went live with IShowSpeed and expressed his views on the matter during his own stream, deeming the entire incident as "peculiar" and alleging that Mizkif had reported him to Twitch. The very next day, Mizkif publicly apologized on his livestream, acknowledging that he had indeed reported the Twitch king.
