In March he was detained for kicking his 'new girlfriend'

Margera's legal problems came only a few months after he made news for his public battles with substance misuse and mental health challenges. In January 2023, he checked himself into rehab for the third time. Recently on March, 2 as reported by the MEAWW, the 'Jackass' alum was arrested for allegedly kicking his girlfriend. He was released from detention after posting a $50,000 bail.

Troubled marriage with wife

In February, according to People, Margera's wife, Nikki Boyd filed for a legal separation. According to the report, she cited her cause as "irreconcilable disagreements." Her lawyer stated, "David Glass, "Nikki Margera felt compelled to file for legal separation from her husband, Bam Margera, due to his continuing drug and alcohol abuse, erratic behavior, and due to his failure to provide support for her and their son."

Margera gained prominence in the early 2000s as one of the stars of the popular MTV show 'Jackass', which followed a group of friends as they did dangerous and often ridiculous exploits. He later appeared in a number of spin-off shows, including 'Viva La Bam' and 'Bam's Unholy Union'. Unfortunately, Margera has been embroiled in a number of legal and personal matters in recent years. He was arrested for driving under the influence in 2019, and he was hospitalized later that year for a manic episode. He was accused of sexually assaulting a lady in his West Chester, Pennsylvania, home in 2021, but the charges were later withdrawn.
