When Colin and Gray drove to the outskirts of the city and disposed of the dead body in a lake, Gray's car got stuck there, and in the heat of the moment, he said a lot of things to Colin.
Gray was furious with Colin for being so irrepressible. Despite Gray's attempts to keep a low profile and distance himself from the criminal world, Colin's actions continued to draw unwanted attention and put them both at risk.
In the future, Gray may distance himself from Colin if he continues to make mistakes that jeopardize their safety. Further, if Gray becomes The Horse's right-hand man, Colin may feel threatened, as he is unable to impress The Horse in the same way.
