'Our new favorite show': Fans hail Bob Odenkirk's return to TV with AMC's 'Lucky Hank'
‘Mr. Bob Odenkirk’ is BACK and he is set to take viewers on a journey that’s filled with awkward situations and a masterclass on how to handle a mid-life crisis (sort of). ‘Lucky Hank’ chronicles the journey of a professor named William Henry Devereaux, Jr., aka Hank. He is the chair of the English department at Railton College and is there to make everyone clear that he is not the one to mess with. The series just aired its premiere episode and without any guesses, it has opened to a bumper response.
Odenkirk, who floored everyone with an impeccable performance in ‘Better Call Saul’, is a middle-aged man going through a lot of complicated situations. He was teaching a class of students at Railton University, talking about the progress they have made in their writing. He is not interested in giving his opinions and tells everyone to read their own work because he knows that their writing is completely mediocre. However, the entire conversation gets heated up when Hank says that this college is mediocre. One thing leads to another and we find Hank trying to save his chair.
