Oscars 2021: Air time, how to live stream, red carpet, presenters, nominations and all about 93rd Academy Awards

The biggest night of pop culture, Oscars 2021 is almost here and after a year of virtual award shows, the 93rd Academy Awards is bringing back some semblance of normalcy with a red carpet, pre-show and nominees attending the ceremony in person. This year, 'Mank' leads the nomination category with as many as ten nods, followed by 'Minari',  ‘Borat 2’, and ‘Nomadland.’ Steven Yeun of 'Minari' made history as the first Asian American actor of Korean descent to receive a Best Actor nod from the Academy Awards 2021. 

Oscars 2021 will be taking place from Union Station Los Angeles and the Dolby Theatre at Hollywood & Highland Center in Hollywood. Brad Pitt, Reese Witherspoon, Renée Zellweger, Zendaya, Angela Bassett, Halle Berry, Bong Joon Ho, and more will be seen presenting the coveted award ceremony. Before the main ceremony, Oscars pre-show 2021 will feature Oscar-nominated music performances by artists Celeste, H.E.R., Leslie Odom, Jr, Laura Pausini, Molly Sandén and more.

Oscars 2021 Full Nominations List: ‘Mank’ tops with 10 nods, ‘Borat 2’, ‘Nomadland’ and ‘Minari’ give tough competition

Date and Time

The 93rd Academy Awards will be televised live on ABC at 8 pm ET/5 pm PT. The pre-show 'Oscars: Into the Spotlight' will air live on Oscar Sunday, April 25, on ABC at 6:30 pm ET/3:30 pm PT. 

How to live stream and where to watch

Oscars 2021 will be airing on ABC. The ceremony will also be available for live streaming on a number of streaming portals including Hulu with Live TV, YouTube TV, AT&T TV, Fubo TV, and ABC.com or the ABC app. 



 

Red Carpet

List of Presenters

The star-studded list of presenters for Oscars 2021 includes some of the biggest names in Hollywood including Brad Pitt, Reese Witherspoon, Angela Bassett, Halle Berry, Bong Joon Ho, Don Cheadle, Bryan Cranston, Laura Dern, Harrison Ford, Regina King, Marlee Matlin, Rita Moreno, Joaquin Phoenix, Renée Zellweger and Zendaya.

Nominations

'Mank, 'Minari', 'Nomadland' and 'Borat 2' are some of the frontrunners for Academy Awards 2021. 'Nomadland' won the Golden Globes for Best Picture, will it be able to snag the Oscars 2021 Best Picture too? As for the Best Actor category, Riz Ahmed (‘Sound of Metal’), Chadwick Boseman (‘Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom’), Anthony Hopkins (‘The Father’), Gary Oldman (‘Mank’) and Steven Yeun (‘Minari’) are nominated.

Carey Mulligan (‘Promising Young Woman’), Viola Davis (‘Ma Rainey's Black Bottom’), Frances McDormand (‘Nomadland’), Andra Day (‘The United States vs. Billie Holiday’) and Vanessa Kirby (‘Pieces of a Woman’) have got the nods for Best Actress 2021. Check out the full list of nominations here.
