Noel Rodriguez-Alvarez: Case of missing Texas boy, 6, turns into homicide investigation
AUSTIN, TEXAS: The case of Noel Rodriguez-Alvarez, a 6-year-old child who has been missing since November 2022 will now be considered as an investigation of a homicide. The child has special needs and the homicide investigation was declared by Everman Police Chief CW Spencer on Thursday, April 6.
Meanwhile, the disappearance of the child was only reported in March 2023. Noel's mother Cindy Rodriguez-Singh fled to India on March 23 with her husband and six of her children, who are said to be between five months and 11 years of age. The 37-year-old woman lived in the refurbished shed with seven children, including Alvarez.

What is the statement from the police in Noel Rodriguez-Alvarez's case?
Everman Police Chief CW Spencer said, "Noel was described as appearing unhealthy and malnourished,” the chief stated. “Leading up to the birth of the twins, [his mom] had made several statements about Noel referring to him as evil, possessed or having a demon in him. [She] believed that Noel was going to harm the newborn twins." Meanwhile, out of the ten children, Three siblings lived with their grandparents. Noel and the others lived with their mother in a shed in Everman. The cops have now derived the conclusion that he is no longer alive and quashed all the rumors regarding his whereabouts. “Cindy was known by relatives to be abusive and neglectful to Noel. One relative witnessed Cindy strike Noel in the face with keys for drinking water. Witnesses additionally stated that food and water were often withheld from Noel because Cindy did not like changing Noel’s dirty diapers.” The child was born with disabilities and developmental disorders. The mother of the child apparently has a criminal history. The pair are believed to have fled to his stepfather, Arshdeep Singh's home country of India before the warrants were issued. "On Nov. 1, 2022, Cindy obtained passport photographs for all of the children living with her, except for Noel,” as per New York Post.
