INDIANAPOLIS, INDIANA: A shocking new docuseries has revealed the horrifying predator calls of Jared Fogle. 'Jared From Subway: Catching a Monster', which premiered on March 6, 2023, on the ID network and Discovery+, includes numerous horrific, never-before-heard statements by Fogle from the covert operation by Rochelle Herman, who became an FBI asset in an effort to build the case.
Herman secretly recorded countless hours of conversations with the former Subway spokesperson, which were revealed in the three-part docuseries. In a conversation, Fogle asked Herman, "Will you let me see your kids naked?". This question really hurt Herman, who is a mother of two children. In a conversation with the NY Post, Herman said, "That was a very crucial, pivotal, critical moment in my life. I feel as though I died that day."

'It was amazing'
Her secret operation also revealed shocking deatils in which Fogle expressed interest in children’s "nice, pure bodies". He also suggested that he and Herman should try and get some child porn videos to watch together. Fogle also talked about a sexual encounter with a "little boy" on a trip to Thailand. He said, "It was amazing. Oh, it was so hot, baby. It was so, so f** king hot." He then went on to ask Herman, "Would you rather have a little boy or a little girl pleasure you?"
Herman's first exchange with Fogle
The first conversation Herman had with Fogle was while they were taping a TV show segment at a Sarasota, Florida, school in 2006. Fogle didn’t realize the microphones were on, and he went on to reveal his hideous inner thoughts. "He had leaned over to me and, above a whisper, he leaned over and he said how hot he thought middle school girls were," Herman told in the same conversation with the NY Post, "I knew what he said was exactly how he felt. I knew that there was something very sinister about this man," she continued. "Behind the smile and the friendly presentation that he puts off, that was truly a mask."
The series also includes revelations from Hannah Parrett and Christian Showalter, two victims of Fogle, and his one-time key associate, Russell Taylor. Taylor married Angela Baldwin, who was the mother of Parrett and Showalter, and entered the girls’ lives in 2012, when they were about 10 and 13 years old, respectively.
Their mother, who was initially a very sheltered religious person, completely turned into a party person, and she and Taylor installed video cameras all across the house to record the girls while they are changing, taking baths, etc. Showalter, in a conversation with the Post, said, "Jared was the puppet master, and then Russell and my mom were the puppets."
At present, Fogle is in prison. The former Subway spokesperson pleaded guilty to child pornography charges and was sentenced to 15 years and six months in prison in November 2015. Baldwin was given more than 33 years following a trial in May 2022, while Taylor, who previously pleaded guilty, received a 27-year sentence in 2015. Unfortunately for the victims, as well as Herman, the memory of the horrific abuse lingers on.
