Saving Mike
This is one of the earliest moments from the show, where we are still learning about the powers of Eleven. When Mike, Dustin and Lucas are bullied by a guy, Troy, known as the "Mouth breather," Eleven makes the bully wet his pants, making him the lauging stock of the school. This enranges the bully, who returns and corners Mike and Dustin with reinforcement. One bully holds Dustin at a knife point while another threatens Mike to make him jump off a high cliff. Mike jumps to the horror of his friends. But to everyone's surprise, Mike is not dead at the bottom of the cliff. Instead, he floats in the air, thanks to Eleven. El uses her powers to levitate Mike and steer him to land safely on the ground. She further punishes the bullies by knocking one down and breaking another's arm. This is the first proper glimpse that we get of Eleven's powers on the show.
Flipping a Van
This is probably one of the instant-iconic scenes from season 1 of 'Stranger Things'. Dr Martin Brenner finally tracks down Eleven at Mike's house and comes for her with several strong assists. He and his goons get dressed as workers of 'Hawkins Power and Light' to avoid suspicion but this gives the group (Mike, Eleven and Dustin) just enough time to escape on their bikes. The captors, led by Dr Brenner, follow them in four vans. Dustin sends a signal to Lucas and the latter joins in but it is not enough. The kids gets blocked by vans on both side of the road. Just when all hope is lost, Eleven busts out an iconic move, flipping the van in front of them up in the sky, before letting it crash in front of the other three vans, effectively blocking their pursuers.
Closing the Gate
Season 2 of 'Stranger Things' had seen Eleven in her infamous goth phase and it had led Eleven in search of her identity and her family. During this journey, Eleven was able to tap her potential and was much stronger than before with her telekinesis power. This journey, unfortunately, led to her tragically hurting several civilians on the way. At long last, when it came for her to close the gate that has let out the demegorgans out into the world, Eleven had to work through her trauma and her frightful memories to close the gate, with a little help from Hopper. She does it in the most epic way possible that made it the best moment of the season.
Regaining her powers
By season 3, we were able to see Eleven in her prime. But after the emotional Starcourt Mall battle, we saw Eleven unable to use her powers. When she tries to live life as a normal teenager, Vecna emerges and threatens the town. So Eleven has to work with Dr Brenner to regain her powers. She goes through a series of hardcore exercises back in a secret lab, through which she understands that her powers are not dead, just supressed. When she realises her worth, she decides to leave the lab and save her frirends, though Brenner insists that the training is incomplete. This leads Eleven leaving the 'Nina Project' once and for all only to be faced by the army of Lt. Colonel Jack Sullivan, who orders his men to kill Eleven. After a season's worth of anticipation, the pay off is watching Eleven finally being able to put her power to use. Eleven flips the helicopter and crashes it on the project facility in one of the epic iconic scenes from Season 4.
001 vs 011
'Season 4' of 'Stranger Things' had given several storylines for Eleven, including the flashback sequences showing her time at the Hawkins Lab. The storyline eventually reveals One, the first child to be subjected to tests by Dr Brenner. for his powers and We got an epic-stand-off between Eleven and One, giving us a glimpse at both of their powers and their potentials. In the first stand-off, Eleven loses to One but ultimately, she is able to regain her powers and mount an attack. In a twist reveal, she sends him to the Upside Down by opening a portal. This leads to One slowly emerging as Vecna! This is one of the moments in season 4 that made jaws drop around the world.
All seasons of 'Stranger Things' are available to stream exclusively on Netflix.
