When does 'The Texas Chainsaw Massacre' release and where can you watch it
The upcoming movie will be premiering exclusively on Netflix on Friday, February 18. According to the Netflix Press site, the film will be available for streaming at 3 am EST. Viewers can download the Netflix app from Google's Play Store and Apple's App Store to see their favorite projects.
What is 'The Texas Chainsaw Massacre' all about
The official synopsis reads, "Melody (Sarah Yarkin), her teenage sister Lila (Elsie Fisher), and their friends Dante (Jacob Latimore) and Ruth (Nell Hudson), head to the remote town of Harlow, Texas to start an idealistic new business venture. But their dream soon turns into a waking nightmare when they accidentally disrupt the home of Leatherface, the deranged serial killer whose blood-soaked legacy continues to haunt the area’s residents — including Sally Hardesty (Olwen Fouéré), the sole survivor of his infamous 1973 massacre who’s hell-bent on seeking revenge."
Who stars in the Netflix movie
Sarah Yarkin will be playing the role of Melody in the movie and Elsie Fisher would be portraying the character of Lila. Meanwhile, Mark Burnham will be donning the Leatherface to play the iconic character.

The young actress began her career with a few short movies. Her first TV role came in 2015 with 'The Middle'. On the other hand, she made her feature film debut in 2019 with 'Happy Death Day 2U'.
Other actors to feature in the movie include Moe Dunfordn (Richter), Nell Hudson (Ruth), Jessica Allain (Catherine), and Olwen Fouere (Sally).

The movie is being helmed by David Blue Garcia while the story has been written by the trio of Rodo Sayagues, Fede Alvarez and Chris Thomas Devlin.
Sayagues, Alvarez, Pat Cassidy, Ian Henkel, Kim Henkel, Shintaro Shimosawa and Jon Silk are the producers of the movie.
