Right from the start, Tammy Gregorio behaves quite strangely in the latest episode of 'NCIS: New Orleans'. First, she messes up her coffee, almost burns her hand, and then as Patton points out, she has "a cheesy AF smile" plastered on her face. Gregorio doesn't quite seem to be herself in this episode and for all those wondering what the reason is, it's a new girlfriend!

According to CBS, Season 7 Episode 3 titled 'One Of Our Own', sees "Pride and the team take on a group of dirty cops when they discover that a murder victim was also a key witness in multiple excessive force cases; Tammy faces the reality of being in a new relationship." This very relationship becomes the gamechanger in Gregorio's demeanor.

While she can't stop raving about this new girl, it's also not that difficult to notice that Gregorio is clearly avoiding the girl. She tested negative for Covid after that massacre situation she got involved in with Quentin Carter in the humanitarian ship, but still is hesitant to meet the woman called Cara at a local concert that team lead Dwayne Pride himself is promoting.

The reason, as it becomes clear towards the latter half of the episode, happens to be Gregorio actually having spent time talking to this woman and not just slept with her. For the first time, Gregorio is not just jumping into bed with someone, she's actually taking the time to talk and get to know them. Perhaps she doesn't want to materialize the relationship into physical intimacy and ruin things.

Fans are, however, more thrilled about Gregorio finally getting a girlfriend after she came out last season, even though she is yet to come out to her own mother. Right from the moment when Gregorio was spotted with that cheesy smile on her face, fans took to Twitter to speculate reasons behind the same.

"Tammy with a cheesy smile" was one of the first observations fans made from Gregorio's behavior in the latest episode. Soon others chimed in with "I cannot wait to find out why Gregorio is in a good mood"; "What's really going on, Gregorio?" and "Gregorio is acting way weird. I'm with Patton."

When they finally learned of Cara and her identity, thrilled fans took to Twitter once again to express their joy over Gregorio finally having a girl. "Aw wait does Tammy have gf She’s so cute!!" tweeted a fan. "Gregorio is a master at deflecting but we all see right through you!" wrote another. Others couldn't help but point out how "Okay Gregorio's back to her old tricks of keeping her girlfriends at arms length... or is she?" Here's hoping she grows out of that habit soon!

'NCIS: New Orleans' airs on Sundays at 9 pm on CBS.
