'The Mysterious Benedict Society' Full Cast List: Meet Tony Hale and others from Disney+ show
Disney+’s upcoming show ‘The Mysterious Benedict Society’ is a mystery adventure television series based on the young adult book series by Trenton Lee Stewart. If you are aware of the novel, you'd probably already be excited about the show. For the uninitiated, the series offers a heady mix of mystery, suspense, drama and thrill.
The Disney+ show follows four gifted orphans who are recruited by Benedict for a dangerous mission to save the world from a global crisis known as The Emergency. Reynie, Sticky, Kate and Constance must get inside the L.I.V.E. Institute to discover the truth behind the dangerous situation. The group learns that Dr Curtain is behind the crisis and the kids of ‘The Mysterious Benedict Society’ develop a plan to defeat him.

Tony Hale as Mr Benedict and Mr Curtain
Born on September 30, 1970, Tony Hale started his career at the age of 27 with the TV series ‘Ghost Stories’. He made minor guest appearances in TV shows such as ‘Dawson's Creek’, ‘The Sopranos’ and ‘Sex and the City’. The actor was widely recognized for the Volkswagen commercial that aired in 1999. From 2003 to 2006, and returning to the role in 2013, 2018, and 2019, Hale found success in television when he was cast as Buster Bluth on ‘Arrested Development'.
In 2012, Hale was cast in ‘Veep’ as Gary Walsh, the personal assistant to Vice President-turned-President Selina Meyer (portrayed by Julia Louis-Dreyfus). Hale won a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series for his work in the show's second season and once again got his hands on the trophy in 2015.
Apart from the aforementioned titles, he has appeared on various projects such as ‘Stacked’, ‘Chuck’, ‘ER’, ‘The Informant’, ‘Transformers: The Last Knight’, ‘Love, Simon’, ‘Rick & Morty’ and ‘The Twilight Zone’.
Kristen Schaal as Number Two
Schaal is undoubtedly one of the most prominent names in the entertainment industry and an acclaimed comedian. She moved to New York in 2000 to pursue a comedy career. In 2006, Schaal performed at the 2006 HBO US Comedy Arts Festival, where she won the award for "Best Alternative Comedian". The comedian made her acting debut in 2001 with projects such as ‘Kate & Leopold’ and ‘The Education of Max Bickford’.
She also guest-starred in the ‘Modern Family’ episode ‘Fifteen Percent’, as well as the music video for ‘Conversation 16’ by The National. ‘Valentine’s Day’, ‘Shrek Forever After’, ‘Toy Story 3’, ‘Despicable Me 2’, ‘Mad Men’, and ‘The Simpsons’ are some of the ventures she has been a part of.
MaameYaa Boafo as Rhonda Kazembe
Boafo was born in Pakistan and raised in four different places — Sudan, Ethiopia, Geneva and Kenya. After graduating from Hood College in 2005, she received a scholarship to study acting at Rutgers University and earned her master's degree in 2019. Boafo made her acting debut as Asa in the 2012 short film ‘Asa, A Beautiful Girl’. From 2017 to 2018, she starred as Paulina in the play ‘School Girls’, which was inspired by ‘Mean Girls’.
‘Where is Kyra?’, ‘The Blacklist’, ‘Iron Fist’, ‘Chicago Med’ and ‘Ramy’ are some of the projects she has featured on.
Seth Carr as George ‘Sticky’ Washington
Born in August 2007, Carr started his career when he was just three months old as a baby model. He is also known for his roles in projects such as ‘Ray Donovan’, ‘Superstore’, ‘Bosch’, ‘Brooklyn Nine-Nine’, ‘Code Black’, ‘Knight Squad’. He also appeared in the movie ‘Black Panther’ as young Killmonger.
Mystic Inscho as Reynie Muldoon
The 12-year-old actor from Los Angeles made a name for himself after touring the US and Canada for almost a year in the lead role of Zack Mooneyham, the guitarist in the School of Rock Broadway National Tour. The young star made his TV debut with the miniseries ‘Sidekicks’ and then went on to star in short films such as ‘Striptease’, ‘Satanic Panic!’ and ‘Be The One’.
Marta Kessler as Constance Contraire
Born on August 8, 2009, Kessler started her professional acting career at the tender age of four. She made her debut in the short film titled ‘Tykva’. The young actress made a lot of appearances in Russian projects such as ‘The Optimists’, ‘The Myths’, ‘Strast’ and ‘The Blood Lady’ and ‘My Little Sister’.
Emmy DeOliveira as Kate Weatherall
DeOliveira began acting at the age of five and has appeared in commercials, television shows and has also done voiceover work. The young actress has appeared in a handful of ventures like ‘Killer Kids’, ‘Muggle House’, ‘Teachers’ and ‘Flaked’.
