Hallmark Channel is ready to entertain its viewers with a delightful holiday movie. Based on the Amy Grant and David Foster hit holiday song of the same name, 'My Grown-Up Christmas List' is the heartwarming story of Taylor Nichols (Wallace) and Luke Malone (McGarry) and the special bond that grows between them over the course of several Christmas spent together and apart. Directed by Andrew Cymek and written by Bryar Freed, 'My Grown-Up Christmas List' will premiere on July 9 at 8 pm ET/PT on Hallmark Channel.
 
The official synopsis states, “Taylor, a successful journalist, has returned home after her mom’s passing a few years prior to help her grandfather with his Christmas Christmas store, and Luke has just returned home from military duty to spend the holidays with his family. When Taylor and Luke meet, their chemistry is undeniable, and we follow them along their journey from a warm friendship to a budding romance. They work together to overcome any challenges that arise and commit to making the most important wish on their Christmas list come true – to spend every Christmas together for the rest of their lives.” Kevin McGarry will play Luke Malone in the Hallmark movie. What was Kevin McGarry’s debut film/series?

Born in Kincardine, Ontario, Canada Kevin McGarry’s career in acting started in his freshman year in high school. He entered a 12th-grade theater class, and suddenly discovered a love for acting. He later went on to attend George Brown College where he graduated in 2007 with a degree in Creative Writing. He also studied Theatre Arts at Fanshawe College in London, Ontario, and later studied at the Pro Actors Lab in Toronto.

McGarry began his acting career in 2006. He played an uncredited role in a short film titled ‘Rock and a Hard Place’. He later played Kevin in a TV series called ‘Lovebites’. He went on to land his first major television role as Dr Timothy Hudson in 'Open Heart' (2015). McGarry also appeared in his first major motion picture titled 'Saw: The Final Chapter' (2010) and landed numerous television roles including his role as Mitch Cutty in 'Heartland' (2007) and as Nathan Grant in 'When Hope Calls' (2019) and 'When Calls the Heart' (2014). He appeared in the lead role of Peter in the TV movie ‘The Wedding Veil’ (2022). McGarry is also a director and has directed a short film titled ‘Lucky’.
