'My 600-lb Life': Dr Now irked as Tim speaks on Alicia's behalf, fans say she can lose 200lbs by dumping him
Alicia had been working really hard to lose weight as she decided to work with Dr Younan Nowzaradan. She managed to bring her weight down to 300lbs, but she still had a long way to go. While Alicia was certain she had everything planned, Dr Younan Nowzaradan believed that one thing she was not paying attention to was her relationship with Tim.
While she was asked to lose 200lbs by Dr Nowzaradan, her next visit to him proved to be a disaster as an argument erupted between Tim and Dr Nowzaradan. Dr Nowzaradan was not happy to see the progress made by Alicia. He knew that she could lose more weight but the progress was not taking place in the way he had expected.
Dr Nowzaradan asked Alicia what was holding her back and Tim decided to answer on her behalf. Dr Nowzaradan lost his temper and warned Tim what he was thinking was part of the problem. He explained how Alicia was not given the opportunity to think about herself as she always had him talking on behalf of her.
While asking Tim to mind his own business, Dr Nowzaradan stated that he was also the enabler. He brought the topic of emotional abuse in front of Tim and hinted that he had created a delusion for Alicia that she had managed to accept as the truth. Tim did not welcome the things that Dr Nowzaradan had said.
He stated he was trying his best to get used to the change in Alicia's life. Meanwhile, Alicia also felt like Dr Nowzaradan's behavior was not justified. She thought Tim had always been there for her and what Dr Nowzaradan had stated was all wrong. While she refused to believe what Dr Nowzaradan and decided to opt out of the program, fans warned her about the mistake she was making.
They thought that the biggest obstacle in her weight loss had been Tim and she could easily lose a lot of weight if she dumped him. "From what I can see, Alicia seems sincere about her weight loss program...and also it appears to bother Tim that she’s succeeding (when he’s not sabotaging her, which he usually is). She can lose 200 lbs really quick by dumping his sorry ass," read one comment.
Another added, "What’s Tim weigh? 180? Dr Now is telling her that in the next two months you should be able to lose 180 pounds. Ya, see what he’s saying?" Another echoed, "Alicia can lose about 200 pounds today if she drops Tim." While another comment read, "Alicia needs to lose 200 excess lbs by the name of Tim."
Even though Alicia realized she made a mistake by dropping out of the weight loss program, it seems like the viewers will only be convinced she has changed once she fixes her relationship with Tim.
