Loads of frolic await in Episode 14 of ‘Modern Family’ Season 11 titled ‘Spuds’ as the members of Pritchett-Dunphy-Tucker households have returned from their Paris trip, resuming their usual misadventures.

The official synopsis for episode 14 of ‘Modern Family’ Season 11 reads, “Phil and Claire take Haley and Dylan to dinner to reassure them they are not bad parents. While out to dinner, they run into Mitch and Cam who are chaperoning Lily’s first date, as well as Jay and Gloria after attending Joe’s school play.”

Lily Tucker-Pritchett (Aubrey Anderson-Emmons ), who has been MIA for the longest time, is finally making an appearance in the upcoming episode. We couldn’t be more excited as she is going on her first date, offering the audiences a bit more to derive entertainment from, besides her somber expressions and snarky remarks.

However, the first date might not be as exciting for Lily as her overly concerned fathers decide to tag along. We aren’t new to Mitchell Pritchett (Jesse Tyler Ferguson) and Cameron Tucker's (Eric Stonestreet) extremity, which has often irked Lily. And, knowing how Lily has always dismissed her parents’ opinion, we could expect a lot of drama to unfold in ‘Spuds’.

Meanwhile, Haley Dunphy (Sarah Hyland) and Dylan (Reid Ewing) seem to be questioning their parenting abilities as they once again turn to the Dunphy couple for reassurance. In the previous episodes, we saw Haley settle for her mother’s conventional methods when the book on modern-day parenting fails to avail her.

The synopsis also states that Jay Pritchett (Ed O' Neill) and Gloria Delgado Pritchett (Sofia Vergara) would be in attendance at little Joe Pritchett's (Jeremy Maguire) school play. For more than ten years, we watched Manny Delgado (Rico Rodriguez) headline every theatre performance he was in. It would be rather interesting to watch if Joe could shine as bright as his half brother, considering the latter has gone on Jay.

ABC’s decade-old sitcom is running high on emotions and the countdown for its finale has begun and fans are anxiously waiting to see what sort of an ending the creators have planned for the legendary show.

‘Modern Family’ Season 11 airs on Wednesdays on ABC.
