Kevin Hart came to prominence when Judd Apatow cast him in a recurring role in 'Undeclared' (which Entertainment Weekly listed it at 16th position in the "25 Best Cult TV Shows from the Past 25 Years"). The 2001 sitcom had Hart playing the role of a religious student on campus who temporarily converts Steven (Jay Baruchel) to Christianity. His longtime friend Judd Apatow, the director who gave him his first big on-screen break, was the one who recommended him for the gig. Hart also came close to hosting the Oscars in 2019, but he stepped down from the gig when a series of his old homophobic tweets resurfaced. He has hosted three episodes of 'Saturday Night Live'. In 2015, Hart hosted the 'Comedy Central Roast of Justin Bieber' which was a massive hit, which took netizens by quite a roll. In 2016, Hart co-hosted the  'MTV Movie Awards' with Dwayne Johnson.

And recently, I didn’t. You know, I’m not perfect. I’m not going to sit up here and say that I am or claim to be in any way shape or form. And I made a bad error in judgement and I put myself in a bad environment where only bad things can happen and they did.
