'My Big Fat Fabulous Life' star Whitney Thore's dating drama: Why crossover with '90 Day Fiancé' can't be ruled out

With Whitney currently single (after Chase Severino cheated on her) and with the pandemic at play she cannot date the normal way and has resorted to online portals. What does this mean?

Whitney Way Thore has shed enough tears over her ex-fiancé, Chase Severino, in the past couple of episodes. She appears to be over it by now, well not completely, she does bring the fact up that she's "stuck in a house without a fiancé" and it's annoying to watch after a point. Coming back, she is making an attempt to move forward and this entails also getting back into dating. This decision comes after her best friend forever Buddy Bell decided to go ahead and start dating. Whitney was ready to live the single life for a longer time but Buddy dating Brittany came as a push and she too decided to stop wallowing and fish for romantic options.

The recent episode of 'My Big Fat Fabulous Life' on January 12 saw Whitney reveal to her friend Andrea that even though she could not date the normal way, she was ready to work with whatever options were available to her. By now, everyone knows how seriously she's taken the pandemic and stresses the fact that everyone must stay home and wear a mask. Because of her obesity-related health issues, she's more susceptible to contracting the virus and she's very strict with following the regulations. But at the same time, she's determined to find a romantic interest. She's revealed that she's on an online dating portal but instead of finding someone in her hometown of Greensboro or Charlotte where she moved to for work purposes, she's seeking men from Paris.

She hates the body-shaming that happens on such dating portals and she believes "men are trash" but she's still looking forward to finding someone. We don't know if she has found someone or not but all this makes us wonder if a '90 Day Fiancé' and 'MBFFL' crossover is on the cards. The whole concept of that show is people meeting online and tackling long-distance relationships, meeting each other and then taking 90 days to decide if their association could last into marriage. While this could just be wishful thinking on our end, the fact that it could be one of the most interesting things to watch is undeniable. What are your thoughts? Let us know in the comments.

'My Big Fat Fabulous Life' airs Tuesdays at 9 pm ET on TLC.
