MasterChef season 10: Fans are rooting for Nick DiGiovanni to take home the trophy

'The ongoing season 10 of MasterChef has fans already predicting the winner of the show. Several fans are rooting for the young Nick DiGiovanni as the winner as he has been consistent with his performance on the show.

Fox’s popular culinary reality show ‘MasterChef’ is an amazing platform for enthusiastic home cooks to get much-needed exposure and training to become a successful professional chef. With $250,000 and a cookbook deal on the line, all the participants do put in their best efforts to win over the judges with their excellent culinary and plating skills.

The ongoing season 10 of ‘MasterChef’ is no different. Over the span of 13 episodes, we have seen the cooks competing to secure a spot for themselves on the show, while also trying to impress the judges. The show started off with 19 cooks and now we are left with 13 cooks, and fans are already starting to root for their favorite participants to win the coveted ‘MasterChef’ trophy. Many fans seem to be rooting for 22-year-old, Nick DiGiovanni.

Nick has just graduated from Harvard University. He also did a summer internship with chef Corey Lee at Benu, a three-star Michelin restaurant in San Francisco, and worked as a line cook at a Cambridge restaurant during his sophomore and junior years. The young chef had a keen interest in food since his early years and cultivated his passion over the years. If he does win the show, then he will be one of the youngest winners of the trophy.

A fan rooting for Nick on Reddit writes, “After that team challenge where he learned effectively with fantastic note-taking skills (from what Micah said) and executing great leadership as a captain, I think he could be a front-runner. If he keeps learning with such curiosity and execution, he could really win this. I also realize there are many front-runners but that team challenge where his team killed it and how he managed it as a captain was very impressive.”

Fans appreciated Nick’s leadership skills and also how he took risks and makes the best of any situation. In an earlier episode (Alaskan King Crab Challenge), Nick decided to make a Sushi Burger and when he wasn't happy with the dish after he finished it, he just scrapped it and began working on another dish. The judges greatly appreciated him for it. A fan commented, “Nick missing the mark not making the sushi burger & redeeming himself with that dish was huge! 🔥 #MasterChef”.
