'Married at First Sight': Shaquille upset as Kirsten calls 'intimacy' a 'setback' in their marriage
NASHVILLE, TENNESSEE: Kirsten Grimes is not happy with where her marriage stands with Shaquille Dillon at the moment. In a preview clip for the upcoming episode of 'Married at First Sight', the new bride shared what she felt about her marriage, which seems to have upset her husband.
Shaquille has already given up things for his wife. On the March 8 episode of 'MAFS', Shaq discusses why he declined a decent job opportunity. "For me, it’s realizing that I am no longer on this path of life by myself. Like, I was all offered a job out of state, kind of far away, and it’s a big role, and I said no," he said. Shaq and Kirsten's marriage did not start off well, which may be why he was attempting to make amends. He had to delay their honeymoon to attend a scientific meeting in Mississippi. Needless to say, Kirsten was not delighted by the unexpected change of plans.

Kirsten's comments upset Shaq
Kirsten and Shaq can be seen discussing what occurred during dinner with the other couples in teaser footage posted by the official 'MAFS' Instagram page. Kirsten admitted to her husband that she was "a little stressed out at the table." She worried what she said at the table that Shaq could consider a "setback" to their marriage. Shaq brought up the amount of intimacy and chemistry that Kirsten didn't appear to have strong thoughts about when questioned during dinner. When Nicole Lillienthal questioned if there had been any progress in the intimacy department, Kirsten appeared upset, which irked Shaq.
"What in the hell?" Shaq exclaimed.
Shaq then asks her what she thought about her marriage to him. Kirsten believed they needed to focus on their relationship, particularly on "communication." "Like, this is horrible right now," she said, adding that the couple's intimacy should be improved.
Kirsten and Shaq struggle to amp up their intimacy level
On the March 8 episode of 'MAFS,' Kirsten and Shaq worked to strengthen their emotional bond. Kirsten planned a nice at-home spa date for her husband, but the night changed when Shaq encouraged her to open up. Fans were outraged when she informed him she had nothing to say.
"Kirsten doesn’t have anything to share with her husband she’s been with for 3 weeks, you have 31 years of things to share," a viewer tweeted.
'Married at First Sight' Season 16 is on Lifetime at 8 PM every Wednesday night.
