DENVER COLORADO: What sets 'Married At First Sight' Season 17 star Orion apart from the others is that he is of Navajo lineage and traces his roots far back to the historic clan.

The Lifetime show, which premieres on Wednesday, October 18, at 8 pm ET, will bring him face to face with Lauren, and together they must decide whether they wish to live their lives together after literally being married at first sight.

The show is set in a scenic ski resort town in the vicinity of Denver

The recently released special episode 'Kicking Off Denver' sheds light on Orion's personal choices and his perspective on life.

According to him, marriage is a union between two souls, bringing together masculine and feminine halves and binding them together into a matrimonial whole. It is this soul connection that he aspires to and this is what brought him under the reality show's roof.

What is the kind of partner Orion is looking for?

Orion seeks to rise above man-made barriers and segregation. It does not matter whether his potential spouse identifies as queer or straight. He expects a partner who shall go all the way with him in exploring their curiosities together.

He doesn't wish to live a life bound by limitations or restrictions. In regard to exploring new experiences, Orion himself has gone on dates with other men, though in his own words, he is not gay.
