Who is Jessica Shannon? Daughter debuts lean frame as 'Mama June' fans ask 'how many kids does June have?'
The 'Mama June: Road to Redemption' premiere has left us with more questions than answers. Like most shows, the season didn't pick up from where it left. Although the viewers were given a low down on what we missed. Even so, it was tough to connect the dots. Lauryn 'Pumpkin' Efird, her husband Josh Efird, and daughter Ella Grace moved to a new home, with Alana 'Honey Boo Boo' Thompson in tow. But no one was expecting to add another member to the mix.
Pumpkin and Honey Boo Boo's older sister Jessica 'Chubbs' Shannon, 24, came visiting. Their conversation started with how their mother June Edith 'Mama June' Shannon was out of rehab and leading a clean life but ended with Jessica asking if she could crash at their place. Pumpkin readily agreed and what followed was the sisters having some fun trying to create content for Jessica's social media, where she mostly shares updates from her fitness journey.

Even though the siblings enjoyed each other's company, Joshua was in shock that Pumpkin had invited her over without so much as letting him know. Moments later, Joshua asked why he was not aware of Jessica moving in, to which Pumpkin said that when he's gone for work most of the week, she has to run the house. One could tell Joshua was not convinced but that didn't matter to Pumpkin.
Jessica is a social media influencer and a reality TV star who recently lost 50 pounds. She enrolled in the Boom Bod program to get into a leaner frame. But that was not all she did to look the way she does now. Jessica and June's fourth daughter Anna Thompson underwent $120K worth of surgeries to enhance their outward appearances.
"I love my new body and I’m excited for the next and final surgeries. I never thought I would even have the body I have today. It’s really crazy when I put on clothes and look in the mirror," she told The Sun last year.
Meanwhile, fans were surprised that June had a third daughter.
