'MAFS' Season 14: Noi and Steve slammed for not working out issues on decision day

Noi and Steve were quick to say 'yes', despite not having solved any of their problems

With each season of 'Married At First Sight', there is always one couple that fans bet their money on, right from the get-go. This couple usually gets along well, has the right chemistry and can communicate well. But even healthy couples like them have their fair share of drawbacks.

For Steve and Noi, romance and chemistry came easy. In fact, Noi was the first out of the cast to say 'I love you', just within days of getting married. And while they had a great relationship, there were many issues regarding Noi's social media behavior and Steve's unemployment.

While the two had a good relationship, their communication tended to break down when it came to how they were contributing to their marriage. With Steve being at home, Noi felt as though he should be the one to do all the chores at home. But for Steve, he argued that they should do things equally or at least be able to ask for help. Noi argued that he'd have to trust she'll pick up the slack when needed. But Steve also addressed that Noi often made him feel like he was 'incapable' and didn't trust his ability to be successful. 

When it came down to it, the answer was yes for Steve, seeing that Noi was the one he wanted to build a family with and have a future with. For Noi, she addressed the fact that they certainly had trust issues that needed to be worked on, but seeing that they had gotten this far, she hoped that they would work out their issues together and decided to stay married. Fans were confused, seeing that they still hadn't worked through any of their issues. "I feel like Steve and Noi didn't solve any of their issues. What's his plan to bring income? Noi is still chilling putting everything on social media. Are they gonna live together or separate now that they're staying together? #MAFS #MarriedAtFirstSight" asked a fan. "You did make the right choice, Noi. But unfortunately Steve didn’t #mafs #MAFSBoston #MarriedAtFirstSight" tweeted another. "Steve dropping hints he got plenty money 😂 Noi just not getting. I get she concerned but she not willing to compromise on ANYTHING at ALL. That's not marriage material #mafs," said a fan.
