'Love Island USA' Season 4 Episode 37: Fans doubt if Zeta and Timmy will last as they're named winners in show's finale

Fans believe, 'Isaiah and Sydney deserved it more' as Zeta and Timmy are crowned winners for Season 4

SANTA BARBARA, CALIFORNIA: America has picked its favorite pair from 'Love Island USA' Season 4 after 34 islanders and 35 episodes of pieing faces, swapping drinks and food from mouth-to-mouth, and undertaking slow-motion beach sprints in the name of finding love. While the majority of fans are pleased with the choice, others have expressed their displeasure.

Timmy Pandolfi, a 29-year-old personal trainer and real estate agent from New York City, and Zeta Morrison, a 29-year-old babysitter, and model from Suri, England, were declared the 2022 'Love Island' winners on August 28. A $100,000 award was shared between the two. Sydney Paight and Isaiah Campbell, as well as Deb Chubb and Jesse Bray, were the runner-ups. All three couples had coupled up in the premiere episode after meeting for the first time.

It hasn't been easy for Zeta Morrison and Timmy Pandolfi, but they persevered and won Season 4 of 'Love Island USA'. During the season premiere, Zeta and Timmy developed an instant connection that not everybody was able to achieve with their day-one companions. Courtney Boerner, for instance, had been contemplating her choices this season by recoupling three times. Zeta and Timmy, on the other hand, have stayed mostly devoted to one another. However, the couple's relationship suffered when new sibling bombshells Chazz and Bria Bryant entered, and Chazz paired his sister with Timmy.

Fans of Zeta and Timmy, including fellow islanders, were concerned that this was the end of the day-one pair. Two more bombshells occurred as Timmy got to know Bria, and Zeta viewed Jeff Christian's presence as a chance to give Timmy a taste of his own medicine. It was evident that Zeta was not in the mood to form a new connection, so she spoke with Timmy, who revealed that he didn't have the same connection with Bria as he did with her. Bria was soon sent off the island, and Zeta and Timmy reconciled at the following ceremony.

The two have gone through a lot at the villa, and there are some clear indications that they may win the season. Only Isaiah Campbell and Sydney Paight, as well as Jesse Bray and Deb Chubb, have been together since the beginning and have lasted as long as Zeta and Timmy. Sadly, the two couples have had greater difficulties than Zeta and Timmy, with both ladies finding it difficult to trust their companions. Nevertheless, Zeta and Timmy forgave each other for the Jeff and Bria saga and appear to have grown stronger as a result of it.

Timmy's return from Casa Amor without a bombshell to find Zeta standing alone waiting for him made it evident that the pair was in it for the long haul. While there were several other powerful couples, particularly as Jeff and Nadjha Day got closer, Zeta and Timmy's on-the-spot bond was difficult to match. It was difficult to foresee any further bombshells coming in and driving them apart after they became exclusive on their first date. Despite the fact that 'Love Island USA' followers have given the pair their approval online, the duo has not received all positive feedback.

As soon as the pair was crowned the winners, fans took it to social media to point out how Sydney and Isaiah was robbed, "Sydney and Isaiah were robbed. Call a spade a spade. Their love story was a far truer reflection of how couples in love are in the real world. I mean, Zimmy never said they love each other, didn't become GF/BF, never had sex. How have they managed to steal this?! #loveislandusa." Another fan wrote, "Isaiah’s momma watching Sarah Hyland say Zeta and Timmy’s name as the 2022 LI winners. #LoveIslandUSA." One more Sydney and Isaiah fan tweeted, "isaiah and sydney deserved it more." Some fans also feel the duo wouldn't last outside the villa, "They won’t last outside of the Villa. Every couple break up."

Calling the season the most predictable to date, a fan tweeted, "Congratulations to Timmy & Zeta. But that was the most predictable season of #LoveIslandUSA yet. The producers have gotta switch up the rules for Season 5 or fans will stop watching. It's getting tiring & boring seeing the OG Clique team up every season to make it to the end." Some fans feel Zeta and Timmy played the game just to win it, "Hmm. I felt a change in them after their fight. I think they just got together and played the game to win. Won’t last! I can’t forget his big “gulp” after she said to him that she could see it working on the outside. Since then, it wasn’t mentioned only just “stay awhile”." A fan tweeted how Zeta and Timmy's real test start after the win, "It was nice while it lasted on the show; now the real test will be if it'll last in real life and, judging by the track record of LI USA, it's not very promising. We'll see if these two break the jinx! #loveislandusa." Speaking of making it in the real world, another fan wrote, "Now let's see who makes it in the real world."

The reunion episode of 'Love Island USA' will air on Peacock on Thursday, September 1st, 2022 at 6pm PT / 9pm ET. The Reunion Episode will last two hours.
