Why did Andy pick Sydney during recoupling? 'Love Island' USA fans say he has 'humiliation kink'
If you were waiting for some fresh drama during recouplings, then you can thank Andy Voyen and Sydney Paight for it. The OG Season 4 'Love Island' stars took everybody by surprise when they decided to couple up with each other during the recent recoupling.
Andy who recently coupled up with Mady McLanahan, discovered that their relationship lacked the spark that he was looking for, so his roving eyes zeroed in on Sydney. Considering Syndey's partner Isaiah Campbell already made her cry and things were a bit shaky between them, Andy knew he could make his way into the red-haired beauty's heart. He pulled her aside and explained to her how she was easy to talk to and enjoyed her company, something that his partnership with Mady lacked. Sydney was pleased with Andy showering her with attention and compared him to 'Mr USA'. Isaiah noticed his girl getting close to Andy and realized that he had to step up his game. Unfortunately, that wasn't enough as during the recoupling Andy picked Sydney, and she happily accepted him as her new partner. While Isaiah complained about good guys getting the raw end of the deal, fans were amused by Andy and Sydney's coupling considering she labeled him as a bad kisser during the kissing booth challenge.

During the kissing booth challenge, all the islanders kissed each other blindfolded and rated the kisses each of them. Andy scored the lowest amongst the boys, and Sydney also revealed that she didn't enjoy the kiss at all. So watching the duo couple up, left fans wondering if Andy had a 'humiliation kink'. A fan tweeted, "Andy has a humiliation kink #LoveIslandUSA." "Andy and sydney??? he likes being humiliated doesn’t he #loveislandusa," wrote another fan. "Andy better not disappoint me tonight. i need him to shake the villa up. choose violence and steal sydney from isiah. #LoveIslandUSA," commented a fan. "Andy and sydney kissing behind isaiah’s back?? WERE FINALLY GETTING DRAMA #LoveIslandUSA," pointed out a fan.

Fans had mixed feelings about the new couple. While some felt that Sydney was smart to ditch Isaiah and play the game, others felt that she could have done a lot better than Andy. A fan shared, "No, Sydney… Not Andy… Pleeeease. #LoveIslandUSA." "Sydney planting a seed with Andy as insurance...smart. #LoveIslandUSA," commented a fan. "Not Andy about to stir the pot, okay Minnesota! And props on Sydney for not keeping her eggs in one basket, secure your spot in that villa! #LoveIslandUSA," expressed a fan.

Andy picking Sydney as his partner didn't sit well with Isaiah. Though he coupled up with Andy's ex-partner Mady, it looks like the two men are going to give us some more drama in the upcoming episodes. We can't wiat to watch how things pan out between Andy, Isaiah, and Sydney.
'Love Island' Season 4 is exclusively available to stream on Peacock, with new episodes airing from Tuesday- Sundays, and Saturdays featuring recap episodes with unaired footage.
