'The Real Dirty Dancing': Fans upset after Loni Love, Howie Dorough's 'hard' elimination

Guest judge Jane Brucker picked Loni and Howie because she felt that they lacked the sex appeal that the other couples had

While nobody can replicate the charm and sex-appeal of Baby (Jennifer Grey) and Johnny (Patrick Swayze) from the cult-classic movie 'Dirty Dancing', FOX's latest offering 'The Real Dirty Dancing' pays homage to the iconic film by attempting to find a new Baby and Johnny.

FOX's uniquely-themed dance competition series features eight celebrities vying to become the new Baby and Johnny by showing-off their dance movies as they recreate some of the most memorable moments from the hit 60s movie. Anjelah Johnson-Reyes, Corbin Bleu, Stephen Boss, Loni Love, Brie Bella, Tyler Cameron, Howie Dorough, Cat Cora and Antonio Gates, took on this daring challenge.

The celebs teamed up and began working really hard to grab the coveted title of new Baby and Johnny. Thanks to their impeccable debut performance- Tyler and Cat were crowned Baby & Johnny last week. Unfortunately, their reign as the new Baby & Johnny was short-lived since Tyler decided to switch up his partner and picked Anjelah as his new Baby. despite all the stars' best attempts at recreating Baby and Johnny's dance, sadly talk-show host Loni Love and 'Backstreet Boys' member Howie were eliminated.

The guest judge Jane Brucker, who reprised the role of Baby's glamorous sister Lisa Houseman picked Loni and Howie because she felt that they lacked the sex appeal that the other couples had. Fans were left feeling sad and upset watching their favorite stars getting booted off from the show. A fan tweeted, "I hate that @LoniLove & @howied went home!! Another fan shared, " Oh noooo…NOT Loni??! U shld be PROUD…U were GRRREAT! #TheRealDirtyDancing." "I felt like no one should of gotten eliminated!!! It’s really hard to go out there with a partner with no experience and dirty dance!! Loni and Howie brought so much to the dance floor. Going to miss them! It was hard on me to see them go! #therealdirtydancing," expressed Brie. Another fan commented, "Man how the hell you gonna send Loni & Howie home the Comedian girl & her partner should've been the one's going home smh...I maybe reading alot into it but I feel like it was because she couldn't do all the moves like the rest of the ladies #TheRealDirtyDancing."
