‘Love & Hip-Hop: Hollywood’: Fans furious with Apryl and Fizz for constantly disrespecting Moniece
Now, that the cat is out of the bag about Lil’ Fizz and Apryl Jones’ relationship, it’s time for the couple to face the music. Fizz’s baby mamma- Moniece Slaughter, met Apryl at the beginning of this season (season 6), to ask Apryl if rumors of her having an affair with Fizz were true and to better understand the nature of her relationship with her baby daddy. Apryl lied to Moniece with a straight face giving the same canned response of “we are just friends”. Moniece then reveals to Apryl about how her son told her that he thought his father and Apryl were boyfriend-girlfriend, Apryl squashes that too.
So, naturally, Moniece wasn’t happy when the couple made their relationship official and did not tell her about it but told all their other friends. The group met at a skating rink, where Paris asked Apryl if she told Moniece about her relationship with Fizz and Apryl told her that she doesn’t have to. Later when Moniece tried to talk to the couple, they just walked away from her. We then see Moniece crying to former LHHH alum, Teairra Mari about how her baby daddy always “disrespected” her whenever a “new b**ch is in the picture”.

Fans felt very bad for Moniece and were furious with the way Fizz and Apryl behaved with Moniece. A fan wrote, “Apryl & Fizz could have been so cute but they are so vindictive with their shit. Being private is one thing but the disrespect towards Moniece makes NO sense. Like why is Apryl so comfortable disrespecting? #lhhh”. Most fans felt that their disrespectful behavior towards Moniece was uncalled for. “See that’s great that Fizz and Apryl love each other or make each other happy moving in and shit...But you don’t disrespect folks in the process. Y’all big and bad...be big and bad. They deserve happiness but Moniece doesn’t deserve disrespect IMHO #lhhh”, pointed out a fan.
Fans are also annoyed with the way Fizz behaves with Moniece trying to make her look crazy and being extremely unsupportive towards the mother of his child. An angry fan shared, “Like seriously, my blood is boiling at the fact that Fizz is being so supportive and caring towards Apryl, when he failed to be that person for Moniece. The mother of his child!!#LHHH”. Another fan expressed their anger with, “It pisses me off that Fizz & Apryl try 2 make Moniece look crazy! Ur on a reality show Fizz, ur life IS NOT private! This affair is ur entire storyline. STOP FRONTIN! Also U LIED APRYL & U LIED FIZZ! U both are F’d Up! #LHHH”.
The preview for the next episode showed Apryl and Fizz laughing while Moniece is seen having an emotional breakdown after Apryl refused to allow Moniece to talk to Fizz, and Fizz walks away from her while she’s trying to talk to him about their son. A fan tweeted, “At this point I want to pop & drag Teeny Fizzle Pop & Bird Brain for Moniece. Like, the amount of disrespect they show towards her is CRAZY!! The laughing, lack of understanding, Apryl not minding her business & making Fizz's issue w/ Mo her issues too...UGH!! #LHHH”.
