Lambs become runner-up of 'The Masked Singer' Season 8, unmasked as Grammy-nominated Wilson Phillips
'The Masked Singer' Season 8 is finally over after weeks of bringing interesting masks and beautiful voices along with it. FOX declared Harp as the winner of the season, who was unmasked as Amber Riley, while Lambs are declared as the runner-up. Lambs were unmasked to be Wilson Philips.
The show opened with each of the two finalists sharing how their experience has been on 'The Masked Singer' Season 8. The finalists further dropped more clues and gave us a recap of what was discovered about them in the last episodes. Intertwining comedy and emotion, the season also gave us an in-depth look at the celebrity singer's experience while singing on the show in the mask. Well, the most interesting part to discover was that these celebrity singers don't even inform their families about being on the show. With Lambs being declared as the runner-up of the season and unmasked as Wilson Philips, let us look into the clues.

Clues for Lambs
Lambs once again donned the stage dressed as Southern Belles, with each one of them wearing a flowery dress. As the trio stepped on 'The Masked Singer's stage, they said, "The show has brought us together." Lambs further praised their friendship, claiming, "We have kept each other going." However, the trio explained that being on 'The Masked Singer' and wearing the heavy costume is "tougher than it looks." When asked why are they doing the show, Lambs replied that they are doing this "in the name of friendship."
To add more to the clue list, Nick Cannon asked Lambs what is the "most unique part" about the show. One of the Lambs replied, "Wearing a mask and not knowing who our competitor is." Another one claimed that the most unique part was "to have the alter ego." The Lambs further thanked the show for bringing them the closest. The Lambs' one of the toughest competitions in the Season was with Snowstorm.
Lambs further dropped some of the clues to help the audience as well as the panelists to understand more about who this celebrity singer is underneath the mask. Lambs struck off Haim, one of the three guesses made by the panelists. The three guesses were Haim, Cords, and The Chicks. Furthermore, the "Big Time clue" dropped for this masked singer was "white roses." As soon as Lambs started their finale performance they brought another clue. This masked singer's dislike is "silence and another clue that was dropped was that this masked singer "can't let go." Lambs sang 'I'm Every Woman' by Chaka Khan in the finale.
Soon after their first performance, Lambs surprised us with their second song 'I Want to Know What Love Is' by Foreigner. After their final performance, judges connected the clues and two of them landed with their final guess being Wison Philips. The trio of three pop girls, Carnie Wilson, Wendy Wilson, and Chynna Philips got famous in the 90s. However, after their second album, the group decided to break up. Chynna announced her plans to do solo. In 1993, they went their separate ways but Wendy and Carnie continued to do a duo.
In 2001, the group reunited to perform 'The Beach Boys' song 'You're So Good To Me'. The group then reunited in 2004 to release the new album California.' However, Chynna's father John Phillip was also one of the clues that helped judges to guess Wilson Phillips.
