Kristina Chambers: Drunken Houston wife crashes Porsche at 100mph and kills man walking with woman on first date
HOUSTON, TEXAS: Kristina Chambers, a wealthy woman from Texas allegedly slammed and killed a man while driving at 100 mph. She was charged with intoxication manslaughter in court on Wednesday, April 26, after losing control of her car with two passengers in it. The incident took place on April 20, around 2.25 am, when Chambers was driving her blue Porche 911 through the Montrose district of Houston.
It is alleged by the prosecutors’ team that she had been drinking heavily, and four times over the legal limit. Chambers lost control while trying to make a curve in the road and smashed onto the sidewalk, where Joseph McCullin was walking with Brianna Iturrino on their first date. The victim was an audio technician and music lover, who wanted to go to a late-night donuts spot before the over-speeding vehicle stuck him. “We had gone to karaoke at AvantGarden. When we got out, the taco truck was closed, but he knew Voodoo would be open. He asked if I wanted to take my car. I said, 'Well it's not that far, we can walk. Fresh air,'' Iturrino told KHOU. She saw a flash and then tried looking for McCullin. His body was flung about 30 feet from the wreckage and he died at the scene.

'There was a lot of alcohol in her system'
"He really loved music. It was one of the things we bonded over. He said he wouldn't sing, but he wanted to hear me sing," she further said. The two passengers in the car didn’t suffer any major injury, but the man was taken from the scene unconscious. They are yet to be named publicly by the authorities. Assistant District Attorney Kelly Marshall during the hearing told the court Chambers’ actions deserve criminal charges. “There was a lot of alcohol in her system.," Marshall said. She further said that traces of suspected drugs — possibly Adderall and cocaine — were also found in her purse. Chambers defended herself and told police that she drank a beer at 9.30 pm and nothing else before the crash at 02.30 am, as per the Daily Mail.
'Good people are drawn to good people'
Judge Te'iva Bell ordered Chambers to be held on a $50,000 bond and prohibited her from driving unless she has a job. Chambers will be installing a landline at her home to show that she is following the court orders. “Good people are drawn to good people, and Joe had nothing but great people supporting, loving, and cheering him along,” read his obituary.
