HOUSTON, TEXAS: Kory Clemens, the son of former Major League Baseball (MLB) star Roger Clemens, has been arrested for driving while intoxicated (DWI) in Houston, reports said. The incident occurred on April 7 after a car accident. Prosecutors allege that Kory hit another vehicle, causing significant front-end damage.

The prosecutors further stated as per TMZ that Kory, 34, was vomiting at the scene. The court documents cited by the outlet said, Kory was unsteady on his feet, reeking of alcohol, with bloodshot eyes, slurred speech, and stumbling when he walked.

Kory was also arrested for DWI in May 2019

As per court documents, Korey was booked into a Harris County jail. He was released after posting a bond. However, surprisingly, this is not the first arrest Korey has faced under Driving while intoxicated (DWI).

Kory was also arrested for DWI in May 2019. He was arrested at that time too in Houston. Cops at the time reported Korey showed signs of intoxication during a traffic stop at 2.05 AM. However, the case was ultimately dismissed the following year in 2020 after he entered into a pretrial diversion program.

Kory is the second eldest of Roger Clemens' four sons. His younger brother, Kody, currently plays for the Philadelphia Phillies. Roger Clemens played 24 MLB seasons from 1984 to 2007, playing for the Boston Red Sox, Toronto Blue Jays, New York Yankees, and Houston Astros.

He is a seven-time Cy Young winner and won two World Series championships with the New York Yankees. Additionally, he was named the American League MVP in 1986 while playing for the Red Sox. Kory is due in court for a hearing in his latest case on Friday morning.

'Raising some good kids there'

As the news broke, social media users questioned Clemen's upbringing of his son Kory by writing, "Sorry, second DUI. Hmmmm that’s not good Roger. Who are you raising?" a user reacted on Twitter. Another wrote, "So how much are the lawyer fees gonna cost for your son's DUI?" One more said, "Raising some good kids there."
