'RHOA' Season 14: Did Sanya coerce Kenya into bringing a plus one for their trip to Jamaica?
Events in Episode 12 of 'The Real Housewives of Atlanta' Season 14 didn't go well for newcomer Sanya Richards-Ross, who received backlash from both her co-stars and viewers due to her demands. However, a new promo for the show's upcoming episode suggests that her requests may actually have been granted, and we may have a new face on the show!
Sanya arranged a girls' trip to Jamaica and wanted it to be a romantic getaway. Kenya Moore was single, so Sanya decided to call her and insist she arrange for a plus one on the trip, in keeping with the theme. Kenya became agitated as a result of this. Viewers were also unimpressed by Sanya's demand. The episode, titled 'Trust (Planning) Issues,' showed exactly how Kenya grew increasingly irritated with Sanya as she tried to force her into bringing a date to Jamaica. Kenya was having none of it and abruptly ended the call, leaving everyone stunned. Viewers took to social media to point out that what Sanya did was improper, especially given Kenya's divorce proceedings.

Sanya said during her confessional that her decision to insist on a plus one arose from their previous trip to New York. On that occasion, it was awkward when a few people were single despite the fact that it was a couples' trip. The 'RHOA' actress then chose to phone Kenya and inform her of the news. Sanya stated, "I really want this to be a couples' trip. I want you to bring somebody. Okay, so I just want to be clear that the Jamaica trip is a couples' trip, because I felt like...."
Kenya interrupted the conversation before Sanya could finish her statement, stating she was weary of it. Shereé Whitfield, Marlo Hampton, and Sanya were taken aback. Drew Sidora and Kandi Burruss were also stunned, not because Kenya had ended the conversation, but because Sanya's demand. Kenya later stated that she would not allow Sanya to do this to her. However, Sanya felt perplexed by Kenya's actions. She stated in a conversation with the other ladies: "She feels like she's queen bee. Why would she do that?" Marlo swiftly retorted, alleging that Kenya had no one to bring. Kandi, meanwhile, was still processing what Sanya had told Kenya. She stated, "My thing is, if we know that Kenya is going through a divorce, like, why are we forcing the point of her having to bring somebody."
Fans on social media, similar to Drew and Kandi, expressed concerns about Sanya's "rules" for the trip. But it seems Kenya has a few surprises of her own. In the promo to the new episode, we see Kenya walking in with a mysterious man, potentially her date. The preview was posted by Bravo ahead of Sunday's episode. Does this imply Kenya gave in to Sanya's demands? Not only Sanya, but everyone at the dinner table, is surprised to see Kenya with this man whose identity is yet to be disclosed, but viewers can expect to discover more about him on the episode om Sunday, August 7.
When Moneytta Shaw (Kandi's friend) and Ralph Pittman (Drew Sidora's husband) saw Kenya, they both raise a glass to her. While Monyetta expects to see Kenya for the entire trip (a sneaky reference to Marlo Hampton's vacation, during which Kenya was primarily absent owing to their differences), Ralph raised a glass to "Kenya getting her groove back." Drew and Shereé can also be heard in a confessional cheering for Kenya for having someone as her plus one on the trip.
