'RHOA' Season 14: Fans call out Marlo Hampton for dumping her nephews on her sister, say this can be 'traumatizing'

Fans say Marlo is 'TRIPPIN' for sending her nephews to her sister's house who works full time and already has four kids

The most recent episode of 'Real Housewives of Atlanta' was a Marlo Hampton show! However, the show does not appear to be popular with viewers, as she is called out for dumping her nephews on her sister.

On Sunday night, July 17, 'RHOA' returned for an all-new episode, and the drama remained consistent. To relieve tension at home, Marlo prepares a luxurious road trip to the mountains in the Blue Ridge. Her tension with her nephews appears to be the source of her worry in recent episodes. To de-stress, she hits the road with most of her pals, who are there to support her.

In the most recent episode of 'RHOA,' a visit from Marlo's sister Crystal (with whom she left the boys) reveals insights about Marlo's background, including the fact that Marlo was once Crystal's guardian. Crystal is kind and intelligent, even though her wealthy elder sister left off two adolescent boys to the three-bedroom home she currently shares with her own four children — but it appears that Marlo needs a break. They chat about their mother raising them, and Marlo admits that's where she gets her tongue. Crystal cautions Marlo not to speak to the boys in the same manner their mother did, especially given the trauma they've been through. Marlo agrees and says she'll keep it for Kenya.

When she tells the ladies on the trip that she has left the two boys with her sister, while most of them appear to be sympathetic towards her situation, few questions her treatment of her nephews. Marlo stepped up as a "munty" (a cross between a mother and an auntie) for her nephews, William and Michael, when their mother sought mental health treatment and ultimately was arrested. Now that she is having difficulty adjusting to her new job as a parent, she believes she owes it to herself to take some time off and come back stronger for the boys. Even though some people empathize with the newly-turned parent, many appear to detest the fact that she dumped two teenage boys on her sister, who not only works full-time but is also raising four children of her own in a three-bedroom apartment. Many fans rushed to Twitter to express their thoughts on the matter.

A fan wrote, "6 kids and an adult in a 3 bedroom apartment and she’s trying to rationalize it cause that’s how she grew up?!? Marlo should’ve stayed friend of just so we respected her a little more #RHOA."

Another person tweeted: "Marlo, you TRIPPIN’…you sent your nephews to your sister’s house. She has 4 toddlers AND she works at a dentistry office? You KNOW she’s tired, dammit…#RHOA."

With the boys being thrown around so frequently, some fans equate their state to that of furniture: "I really feel for Marlo’s nephews. Being passed around to different family members can be traumatizing. They are not a piece of furniture. #RHOA."

With Marlo insisting on earning a break among her new parental obligations, people wonder when her sister gets a break with all of the work and responsibilities she has: "Her sister has 4 kids and a job and Marlo just gave her 2 more kids. When does Crystal get a break? Tf, Marlo? #RHOA."
