'Katy Keene' Episode 4: The fashionista is past the woes of love but will things change when she meets KO?

In this episode, titled 'Here Comes The Sun', we see 'Katy Keene' (Lucy Hale) decides to leave behind the woes of her personal life. Deciding to focus her energy on her work, she ends up in another scandal. Meanwhile, Jorge aka Ginger Lopez (Jonny Beauchamp) has questions about his new beau while Josie sets her foot down with Cabot's.
It's been a week since Katy Keene broke up with her boyfriend KO Kelly (Zane Holtz) and while she wallows in the depths of her emotions, she decides to focus on Gloria Grandbilt's (Katherine LaNasa) demands at work. How did she end up half-naked in the display window of Lacy's though? Well, as most good stories go, it started with a boy.
Presented with a high profile client that could bring the store out of its indebted misery, she messes up while he makes a visit to the store. Now, she has to convince her boss that she deserves the job and so recruits Pepper Smith (Julia Chan) who's connections get her to the client. On a mission to get the ever-powerful client to design a line for Lacy's, she ends up meeting him at the club.
When the famous client denies creating a line for the store, Katy hits rock bottom when she sees KO, her ex-boyfriend who hasn't texted her back. It seems as though the duo has been miserable, but KO places the blame of his foul mood on Katy, who initiated the breakup.
After some incessant drinking, she becomes harshly honest to the client and she ends up in his good graces. A tour of the history and magic of Lacy's and a little heart-to-heart leads to a bit of throwup in a handbag and on her dress. Did you think she ended up half-naked in the display window of Lacy's because of a rebound? Yeah, we did too. She got the man to pick Lacy as his exclusive retailer though, and Katy finally got some sleep, all is well that ends well.
Josie McCoy (Ashleigh Murray) meanwhile agrees to a "no curveball" dinner with Alexander Cabot (Lucien Laviscount) and his father only to end up in hot water with the Cabot's anyway. Being from 'Riverdale', the stern in her otherwise very mild demeanor seeps through as she stands up to the Cabot family drama. After performing a number in all her dewy angelic glory, Josie finds out that the Cabot siblings are step-siblings and were in a relationship in high school.
They were high school sweethearts, and that's how their respective parents met. However, Josie is used to this after dealing with the Blossom-Cooper incest drama in 'Riverdale.'
The "sick and depraved" need for Alexandra (Camille Hyde) to reveal that information had Josie saying she has had enough of them "toying" with her. After having put up with the sibling rivalry since she stepped foot into the big city, she decided that while she had her career to think of, her self respect is her priority. She has no time for a bitter ex-girlfriend turned step-sister, and we agree. Mr Cabot, on the other hand, might have better plans for Ms McCoy's career, sans Ms Alexandra's vile antics.
While being told her EP is being backed up by father Cabot, she's asked to take care of Alexander - we are a tad bit skeptical of this deal though.
Jorge meanwhile has begun a juicy relationship with a firefighter, and while his parents support his excitement, he has some insecurities. His father who doesn't understand why a firefighter larger than Jorge himself, would be with Jorge, and that ended up surfacing insecurities Jorge felt while growing up with his brothers. Although Pepper's
narrative takes a bit of a back seat in this episode, we see her dealing with a porno in an unregistered place to make her New York dream come true.
All of Keene's friends have rallied by her side through her breakup with KO. A warm-hearted episode, we are taken through the ever riveting journey of love lost as a young girl with big dreams makes her career her top priority.
