Who is Kathryn Dennis?
Kathryn Dennis is a reality star and Southern socialite. She has been a part of the main cast of 'Southern Charm' since Season 2 of the show. She is the descendant of John C Calhoun, the seventh Vice President of the United States of America and the granddaughter of Rembert C Dennis, an influential legislator who served nearly 50 years in the South Carolina House of Representatives and the South Carolina Senate. She has two children with her ex, Thomas Ravenel.

As reported by The Sun, Dennis sold her home in Mount Pleasant for $342,500 in December 2021 and had been living in a high-rise apartment block in Charleston. The article also mentions that she was hit with two 'Rule to Vacate' notices this year, on March 16 and May 17. Dennis' had missed her February and March payments of $4,626 each, totalling $9,252. While she settled the first notice, the second notice stated that the 'terms of occupancy have ended', which meant that Dennis had most likely left the property.

As per Celebrity Networth, Dennis' has a net worth of $800,000. The website also mentions that she gets paid $25,000 per episode, with regard to her role on 'Southern Charm'. In 2017, it was reported by Page Six that she was working at Gwynn’s, a 'locally owned luxury department store in the Charleston Tri-County area'. A source explained that she was doing so in order to work towards a more stable future. "It’s like a Bloomingdale’s. She’s styling," they said. "Her storyline [this season] could be her getting her s–t together and getting her kids back," they added.
As reported by People back in 2019, Dennis' multi-story townhouse was available for a hefty sum of $1,795,000. The home cost her $6,600/month to rent. In a conversation with Bravo, Dennis' seemed done with the place. "F--k living in a house that's five stories. Excuse me... Nothing ever made it to the top floor." However, while talking to PEOPLE, she clarified her Dennis spoke about her decision to move out. "I'm just trying to be more responsible on the whole with my finances. That's part of the reason why I moved out of the other house; because it was too large of an amount of money to be spending when I need to be building savings," she explained.
In 2019 Dennis' 'Southern Charm' co-stars have also called her out on her spending habits, seeing that she had purchased a Rolls Royce back in 2019. Co-star Naomie Olindo called it "foolish" and added that her new lifestyle was "not great". However, in a podcast with Bravo's The Daily Dish, Dennis addressed these statements. "I will say that they were coming from a good place," she said. "That conversation got misconstrued and polarized. The spending habits: They know nothing about my spending habits, quite frankly," she added.
"In retrospect, after a few more things happened, I realized whether or not they know what place they were coming from, I was making irrational, irresponsible decisions regarding money, etc.; however, I caught myself soon enough," she explained. Back then Dennis was determined to make a few lasting changes"My entire life has been basically making a mistake and learning afterward but luckily I have good friends who try and help guide me in the right direction," she said. "I'm very hard-headed so I still kind of will do what I'm going to do. But life is a perpetual learning experience and I'm trying my best."
