SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH: Jen Shah is at it again! The 'Real Housewives Of Salt Lake City' star recently posted a pretty controversial video on her Instagram account. In the video, Jen and TV personality Joshua Lamar act out to audio that says "how to look signified during church" As the video progresses, the two follow the actions spoken in voiceover. Jen's new video clearly mocks churchgoers and perhaps even one particular churchgoer who was once accused of owning a cult.

Although Jen may have meant the video as a humorous joke, fans were quick to criticize the actress for mocking her religious beliefs. Some even noted that the video was a subtle reference to former housewife Mary Cosby, whose church Jen once attended. In the comments section, the ‘RHOSLC’ fans swarmed to defend the ex ‘RHOSLC’ star as one person penned, “Actually Jen, YOU need the church, after your crimes. You have no place making fun of anyone...” While another noted, “At least Mary will be here raising her son in person!! Why Jen would you@mock anyone right now!?” Another fan mocked Jen and wrote, “Ha!! you are going to church of St mattress in prison that’s what happens when you get rich off poor people.” And one commented, “Church of Prison Chapel!!!” The mocking continued as one more person chimed in with: “The prison church?” Whereas another wrote, “Can’t stand her.”

In Season 2 of ‘RHOSLC’ when Mary Cosby was still a member of the ‘RHOSLC’ ladies’ gang, she invited Jen to her church to prove that it was not a cult. But the mission backfired dramatically as the congregation started singing praises of Mary and crying hysterically over the housewife the minute she stepped foot inside the place. After the incident, many accusations were thrown toward Mary for owning a ‘cult’. Jen later discussed the incident with the other housewives, leading to Lisa Barlow questioning Mary about the allegations. In response, Mary had said, “That’s why Jen is where she is, and that’s why I’m sitting where I am today,” referencing Jen’s arrest by Homeland Security.

Mary might have a point because Jen has been facing a turbulent time due to her upcoming trial. The reality star is facing up to 30 years for conspiracy to commit wire fraud in connection with telemarketing and money laundering. So far, Jen has had to forfeit $6M and pay restitution of $9M. Her sentencing is currently scheduled for November 28, 2022.
