OKLAHOMA CITY, OKLAHOMA: An Oklahoma woman, Jaydee Watts, 44, has been accused by police of playing a role in her 72-year-old mother's suicide, which took place on September 10.
Lynda Watts, suffering from dementia, was under the care of her daughter, who now faces serious charges related to the tragic event.
Oklahoma City police arrested Jaydee following an intensive investigation into the circumstances surrounding her mother's death. Detectives allege that Jaydee intentionally provided her mother with a firearm, ultimately leading to the elderly woman taking her own life.
The revelation came through a news alert from the Oklahoma City Police Department on Tuesday afternoon, November 21.

Disturbing details emerged as investigators obtained Ring camera footage from inside the home. The footage allegedly captured Jaydee Watts verbally berating her mother, referring to her as a toddler, and issuing threats such as "take your pill or choke on it and die," according to reports by KOCO News.
The video reportedly showed Jaydee leaving her mother's bedroom only to return with a handgun, demonstrating its usage and instructing Lynda to "do with it what you will."
Subsequently, Jaydee exited the room again, re-entering with a drill, announcing her intention to lock her mother inside the bedroom. Tragically, Lynda fired two shots, ending her own life.
"(Jaydee) suggested that she take her own life, very sadly she did," remarked Oklahoma City Police MSGT Dillon Quirk.
After the incident, Jaydee contacted a hospice worker, revealing that her mother had shot herself with the gun she had provided. The employee promptly reported the incident to the police, leading to detectives discovering Lynda dead inside the home.
During the police interview, Jaydee reportedly expressed the challenges of being a 24/7 caregiver, stating, "It sucks being a 24-7 caregiver."
Later, a warrant was issued for her arrest, and she was charged with felony murder in the second degree by caretaker abuse and kidnapping.
According to the New York Post, Jaydee turned herself in and was booked on a $1 million bond before being bonded out. The tragic incident occurred just a week before Lynda's 73rd birthday, leaving a community in shock and social media flooded with reactions.
