'It is Andre's world': Fans root for Zaire Adam's Andre more than the main four protagonists

There is also obvious care and dedication in the addition of same-sex couples and sexual fluidity going on

LOS ANGELES CALIFORNIA: All hell breaks loose in the teen comedy mystery 'Freeridge,' the new spinoff to Netflix’s 'On My Block'. Featuring an all-new crew of four high school friends, sisters Gloria and Ines, and close besties Cam and Demi, everything’s all swell in the neighborhood of 'Freeridge.' However, that is until the group buys a haunted mystery box and accidentally unleashes a curse which also teaches the 'Freeridge' kids some very valuable fundamentals be it for friends or family. 

Regardless, Tenzing Norgay Trainor brings a touchingly understated sense of longing to Cam, who spends much of the season’s eight half-hour episodes in a love triangle with Demi (Ciara Riley Wilson), his high-strung bestie, and Andre (Zaire Adams), his confident but clingy boyfriend. Zaire Adams who was one of the side characters is actually more appreciated than the main ones in the main cast. Although the series was not probably one of the best watches perhaps it is a very entertaining one and so is Zaire Adams' character in the series.

Exploration of sexual fluidity acceptance

Sexual acceptance is very personal and especially not feeling judged by one of your loved ones is a necessity. In case, someone says something inappropriate unmindfully, it can stay with a person for a really long time which was perfectly represented by Tenzing Norgay Trainor's Cam in 'On My Block' spin-off series, 'Freeridge'. There is also obvious care and dedication in the addition of same-sex couples and sexual fluidity going on; this could feel like a hollow appeal to youths in a lesser show but doesn’t at all here. Speaking of same-sex couples, our on-screen lovebirds Trainor's Cam and Adam's Andre have already been considered endgame by the fans. 

"I’m team Andre FOR REAL"

Fans have ben rooting for team Andre since the series dropped. A fan said, "That biphobic b**ch I’m team Andre Fr." A fan wrote, "It's always the one with the least screen time that's the best character in the show. Andre is lovely and deserves better," while another shared, "This is Andre's world we're just living in it I love him." A fan mentioned, "They were kinda unnecessarily mean to Andre when he is just super extroverted and confident in his being. It’s obvious he’s supposed to be Jasmine’s counterpart and they used to do Jasmine wrong too on OMB so it’s fitting I guess." Lastly, a fan shared, "“it’s a brand new Dreeeeee, It’s a brand DRE” is gonna be stuck in my head all week."
