Is Lala Kent jealous of Ariana Madix? ‘Vanderpump Rules’ star addresses rumors amid Season 11’s trailer release
BEVERLY HILLS, CALIFORNIA: Lala Kent is setting the record straight on Ariana Madix jealousy rumors.
During an Amazon Live on Wednesday, Kent confessed that she isn't jealous of Madix whose career has been soaring after her split with her boyfriend Tom Sandoval due to the cheating scandal.
In the latest trailer of 'Vanderpump Rules' Season 11, Lala says, "I have never experienced someone who gets cheated on and suddenly becomes God."
The reality TV star poked fun at those who thought she was jealous of Madix's achievements.
Kent shut down the jealousy rumors by saying, “I have always been a fan of hers. I think that that shows throughout the years."
The Give Them Lala Beauty founder further added, "Have we had our ups and downs? Absolutely. But to see my friend thrive after such heartbreak? I am so happy for her, and I am so proud of her.”
Although Madix did not win in Season 32 of 'Dancing With the Stars', Kent expressed that her friend was extremely talented and deserved to be a part of the competition.
Kent also shared her thoughts on Madix being cast as Roxy Hart in the Broadway production of "Chicago."
She stated that the Something About Her co-owner "deserves everything that is coming her way. The girl can dance, the girl has pipes, the girl can act."
The blonde beauty mentioned that the viewers took her 'god' remark out of context and she added, "That’s what the trailer is meant to do. It riled everyone up, everyone is talking about the trailer, everyone is giving their feedback, people are arguing in the comments section — that’s what we want.”
She continued, "The second no one has an opinion on the television we’re making, we no longer have a show. So whether ya love me, ya can’t stand me, you think I’m incredible or you think I’m jealous, it’s all the same to me. My name stays in your mouth. I want Ariana’s name to stay in your mouth. I want you to eat and breathe Vanderpump Rules.”
Why did Ariana Madix and Tom Sandoval split?
For those unaware, Madix and Sandoval called the plug on their romance after 9 years of dating after he had an affair with a fellow cast member named Rachel Leviss.
The pair called it quits in March 2023.
Then, Ariana even addressed her split with Sandoval on social media by writing, "I am so f*****g lucky to have the best support system in the world and I hope I can repay every single person for the love you have shown me."
She added, “What doesn’t kill me better run."

Following her split from Tom, Madix's career has been thriving. The TV personality recently participated in 'Dancing With The Stars' Season 32 and she and her partner Pasha Pashkov finished in third place.
