SAN DIEGO, CALIFORNIA: The Lifetime hit series, ‘Married at First Sight’ might be a little peculiar to some, but the show has surely gained a massive fan base. A show where contestants marry a complete stranger sits right between the borders of absurdity and unhinged entertainment. So if you’re a ‘Married at First Sight’ fan wondering what it would be like to appear on the show, then wonder no more.

After racking up about 15 seasons of the US version, the show only grows in popularity. The series requires brave contestants willing to let a team of relationship experts choose a partner for them. The contestants will only get to see who they will marry directly at the altar during the wedding ceremony. Now that surely sets the stakes high! The experiment has also led to long-lasting relationships, while some couples flame out shortly after their wedding day. So if you’re looking for love and don’t mind starring on a reality TV show, here’s how even you can star in ‘Married at First Sight’.

How to sign up for ‘Married at First Sight’?

Those willing to take the risk can apply on the show’s casting website. Firstly, you need to be a single pringle to apply. Applicants then need to share details about their career, education, height, weight, marital history, and cultural and religious background. Applicants also have to answer questions about their childhood, parents’ relationship, dating history, dealbreakers, and the qualities they are looking for in a partner along with a few other details. The website also asks would-be contestants for their photos, links to their social media profiles, and a 15-second video explaining why they’re ready to get married at first sight. Lastly, the final requirement to be cast on the show is the willful bravery to marry an absolute stranger for at least eight weeks of the series’ filming duration!

‘Married at First Sight’ now casting for Season 17

According to the ‘Married at First Sight’ website, casting is now wide open for Season 17 in Denver! The single residents of the mile-high city can apply to be cast on the show. So far, the show has only included heterosexual couples in all its seasons. But this time, the application form also asks to specify the gender the applicant is interested in, with options for men, women, or people of either gender. So fans can perhaps expect that Season 17 might have a same-sex wedding.
