Ulf the White
Ulf the White (Tom Benett) enters the fray in the season as we see him in a Tavern drinking with his friends claiming to be the half-brother of Daemon Targaryen (Matt Smith). We only see a glimpse of him but he will be a very important character in the series
He fights with the Blacks and becomes a dragon rider for them. He will be a key reason behind the victory of Rhaenyra Targaryen ( Emma D'Arcy) in the Dance of the Dragons.
After Dance of the Dragons is over, we see Ulf the White betray Rhaenyra Targaryen and join the Greens. He even harbors ambitions of sitting on the Iron Throne.
Alys Rivers
Alys Rivers (Gayle Rankin) is a character that has a supernatural element to her and becomes an important character in the future. She has a confrontation with Daemon and ultimately becomes the lover of Aemond Targaryen (Ewan Mitchel)
She is a winter nurse and has control over aging. in 'Fire and Blood', there is also a reference to her being the mother of Aemond's child. People who curse her end up dying mysteriously in the book.
Daemon's death
Daemon Targaryen took Harrenhall in Episode 3 but as he spends the night there, he gets confronted by the haunted nature of the castle of Harrenhall. He hallucinates a younger Rhaenyra with Prince Jaehaerys's body.
There is a prediction by Alys Rivers about Daemon dying in Harrenhall. If 'Fire and Blood' is followed, Daemon does die in Harrenhall fighting Aemond as they kill each other.
The battle takes place near Harrenhall at God's eye and that is where Daemon dies in an attempt to kill Vhagar and Aemond. The event is the turning point of the war
Daenerys's eggs
Rhaenyra Targaryen sends her step-daughter Rhaena Targaryen (Phoebe Campbell) with Joffery Velaryon, Aegon III Targaryen, and Viserys II Targaryen to sail away at Pentos after she faced an attack on her life.
She sends unhatched eggs with Rhaena and these are the eggs that Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke) gets in 'Game of Thrones'. The dragons help Daenerys start from nowhere and become the Khaleesi who conquers the world.
Rhaenys Targaryen's Death
Rhaenys Targaryen (Eve Best) talks to her husband Corlys Velaryon (Steve Toussaint) in this episode about the possibility of them dying without deciding a successor for Driftmark.
In 'Fire and Blood', Rhaenys Targaryen's death isn't too far away as she dies in the Battle of Rook's Rest. The battle is expected to begin in the next episode and will kill both Rhaneys and Meleys, her dragon who is trapped by Criston Cole (Fabian Frankel)
