'House of the Dragon' Episode 2 Fan Review: HBO prequel continues strong start, 'next week gonna be crazy'

'House of the Dragon' Episode 2 did exactly what the fans wanted it to. Not just did it open to another strong start, but also made sure the rest of the series have plotlines secured and in place. In addition to the 'Game of Thrones' introduction, the episode also showed Queen Rhaenyra's own decision to rule Westeros when she actually wields power after being appointed as the king's successor much to the chagrin of some of the members of the council.

Titled 'The Rogue Prince', the episode also shows Viserys just perhaps one remark away from kicking off a civil war. The episode sees a bit of a time jump with the events set six months after Rhaenyra's appointment as heir. The court and council also deal with a Pirate situation in the Stepstones which she wants to have a say in, but her views are declined.

This was seconded by another who wrote, "House of the Dragons episode 2 was another good one - I think this show might end up being... Fire."

The lavish praises continued. "Knowing what’s coming, episode 2 of house of the dragon did such a good job setting up future events like the seeds have been planted and the pieces are in position," a comment read.

"Wasn't blown away by the House of the Dragon pilot but episode 2 delivered like crazy. the hour went so quick it felt like twenty minutes. This show is going to be so huge," another remarked.
